Par for the course in California mindset. More people fleeing Cali...
How about a one-way ticket to their ancestral country and 3-6 months of living wage? That would be cheaper than keeping them.
DO IT!!! Come on California. Lead the way. There will be no law more divisive and destructive than reparations. Imagine that. Every other ‘race’ will hate the blacks. And the blacks will hate each other, moreso, when one black person gets reparations but another black person doesn’t get them. This will be glorious. If there is anything to really kick off a race war, reparations is it.
The Slavery Abolition Act of 1833 formally freed 800,000 Africans who were then the legal property of Britain’s slave owners. What is less well known is that the same act contained a provision for the financial compensation of the owners of those slaves, by the British taxpayer, for the loss of their property. The compensation commission was the government body established to evaluate the claims of the slave owners and administer the distribution of the £20m the government had set aside to pay them off. That sum represented 40% of the total government expenditure for 1834. It is the modern equivalent of around £23bn.
To pay for that didn’t the UK issue a bond release that completed its payout sometime in the 20th century?
Blacks need to think this through. I served as an expert witness in wrongful death litigation, which is not that different than reparations. I took the prevailing wage for those African nations where most US slaves came from and compared those wages to wage rates for blacks in the US. I then to those numbers for 157 years, discounted to present value using a 5% discount rate. It turns out, that US blacks owe every non-black in the US about $640,000 each. I’m not sure where I should go to pick up my check.

Give them a choice: US citizenship or reparations and return to Africa. I wonder what the choice would be....
Paid off in 2015 I think.
The best course is to just say no. Ignore an ostracize.
There is no cure for inequality
Well done! Applied economics at work!
GREAT WORK===CONGRATULATIONS
KEEP POSTING THIS INFO
