"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.

😄 To be fair to me, I did say 'some'; also, I did not say light beam, I said "(solid?)" - i.e. some technology projecting solid appearing objects. Of course I am just theorizing about inexplicable phenomenon, not referencing open recognized technology.
A 'projection' explains objects just appearing and/or disappearing; objects suddenly changing direction at high speed; objects accelerating quickly to impossible speeds without making a sound... that sort of thing. It is like teasing a cat with a laser beam.
