Why does it take over $320000.00 for a simple website? Its not like the limited graphics and simple user interface requires a team of engineers.

A large cost is the routers and servers in hardened Data Centers.

I'm retired from Verizon Business and worked at a Data Center for a few years.   It is enough to boggle your mind.   Data Centers are hardened, meaning the equipment is protected in Faraday cages against nuclear blast electromotive force (EMF).   You have to pay big bucks for that.

You’re tripping.

The Robinsons run their own server and it’s probably a single rack server in a spare room and I doubt it’s in a faraday cage. Hell they can’t even keep the ssl/https 24/7/365. Forgot to pay for the domain name one year and we all has to use a numerical IP to access it.

“A large cost is the routers and servers in hardened Data Centers.”

If you don’t know, don’t just make up things.

Look at the numbers:

Systems and Programming 7,000

Management and Admin 13,500

Legal and Accounting 1,000

Bank Fees, Credit Card Fees, Processing Fees 900

Equip, Maintenance and Repairs 600

Office Expenses, Rents, Insurance, Telephone, ISP, Supplies, Allowance for Declines/Cancels 2,500

Travel Expenses 1,200
