Mrs. Eagle and I have been on 3 cruises. Every passrnger tips the baggage handlers $1 per bag. There is no shortage of baggage handlers and they are quick and friendly. Watch how fast TSA employees return to work once they hear their fellow employees are making hundreds of dollars per hour. It's been 20 years since we've been on a cruise so people may tip more than that now.

Errrrrr, there may have been a better way to phrase that but I'm sure you get my drift.
Pay them with SpaceX stock options
1. Find a democrat.
2. Find a table.
3. Hand the democrat some cash under the table.
4. Avoid being between that democrat and any TV camera they may be headed for to claim credit for reopening TSA.
Fire them. All of them.
Hire them back as temps or trainees at 1/4 wage.
Or perhaps they could just STFU and go back to work.
Entitled #%€¥.
Heh heh. Good point. After 30 years, nothing should surprise me.
I rarely fly so these long lines are no skin off my nose. I’m just trying to help my fellow man
As I always do. I’m always thinking of others.
Bagmen make hundreds of dollars per hour? 🤔
Maybe Hunter Biden but not baggage handlers?
Fire them all and make the airlines do their own security. Another Bush boondoggle.
“Bribery!!!!! Ha haaaaaas! Omygosh! I expected to hear some stupid things but that one wins the thread already.”
Not as stupid as the post about tipping security personnel.
Do the math. Cruise ships hold 3,000 passengers or more. Every passenger probably brings 3 suitcases or more. There are far more flights than there are cruises.
You can be bribed by one dollar???? You must be a cheap date. Omygosh. Please tell me you don’t have children.
“Retro pay a month from now doesn’t help you buy groceries today.”
Last November shutdown those that showed up got a $10,000 bonus check.
Get them t-shirts and signs that say “Please Remember to Tip Your Fondler”!
“You can be bribed by one dollar???? You must be a cheap date. Omygosh. Please tell me you don’t have children.”
You don’t understand the dynamics of tipping.
Are you going to mandate that each and every passenger tip exactly one dollar?
Then that is not a tip, it is a mandatory fee.
The problem is, they’re security. It’s illegal, they’re not allowed to accept tips...it can be considered a bribe.
I love the idea - maybe if it were allowed and you’re only allowed to tip “no more than $1”, then the bribery concern evaporates.
Great idea! No tax on tips.
“Every passrnger tips the baggage handlers $1 per bag. “
Not every passenger. Some don’t tip. Some tip more.
Want good service from a government official gim him a good bribe tip.
So you mean the paying customer’s pay. silly post
“How about the airlines pay? its to support their businesses after all.”
TSA is funded by a $5.60 security fee per passenger.
