Despite ongoing conflicts, Israelis continue to report high levels of happiness.
The annual World Happiness Report has once again been released, placing Israel in a respectable eighth place, with most citizens reporting that they are happy living in the country.
The index is published each year by the Wellbeing Research Centre at the University of Oxford. According to the latest rankings, Scandinavian countries occupy the top spots.
Residents of Finland are the happiest in the world, followed by those in Iceland. Denmark ranks third. In a surprise, Costa Rica takes fourth place-the highest ranking ever for a Latin American country.
Fifth place goes to Sweden, followed by Norway. The Netherlands ranks seventh, with Israel right after it in eighth place.
Israel is the only country from the Middle East to make it into the top twenty happiest countries in the world. Rounding out the top ten are Luxembourg and Switzerland.
At the bottom of the list is Afghanistan, ranked 147th as the least happy country in the world.
Just above it is Sierra Leone in 146th place, while Malawi, Zimbabwe, and Botswana also appear near the bottom of the global happiness rankings.

Don’t complain to Trump about it, even if you’re tired of it.
Well, they might emigrate in protest when JDV wins the election in 2028. That’s bad news for Canada, Mexico, or the other side of the pond. But one way to get Canada and Mexico to pay for the wall.
Why wouldn’t they be? They are on the greatest roll in the history of the Jewish people since the days of Solomon (despite the Ay-rabs trying to annihilate them for the last seventy-five years)..
Of course they’re happy. They have an Uncle Sugar.
I’m not sure I believe this article. I’ve read more than one thing in the last few years talking aboutthe large number of people leaving the country. So who knows.

“Chosen people” is a mixed bag, and not a compliment:
Deuteronomy 7:6-8
“. . . . The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were better than other peoples, for you were the least of all peoples. . . .”
He literally looked around, found the least of all people, and decided to use them as a demonstration of His power.

We had the local Town Karen freak out at our town meeting last weekend.
She was pissed because we introduced a warrant article to restrict the flag being flown at the library to the US or State of NH flag.
Therefore, NO MORE RAINBOW flags could be flown.
She called us a bunch of MAGA Haters. She got booed big time. The Moderator had to call the meeting to order. The problem is the Moderator is married to the Town Karen.
Those staying are happy.
That’s why Canada and Mexico will pay for the rest of the wall. To keep the Karens from emigrating to them in protest, every time they’re PO’d about an elections. But AWFL smuggling across the borders will become a booming business.
I always laugh at our local bigots who think Jews calling themselves the “chosen people” is some sort of brag.
Nope.
It’s literally the opposite of a brag.

Peter and Saul/Paul are two terrific examples.
Life in Israel is a Caberet, better because Uncle Sugar pays the bills. Forget illegals, homeless and druggies, Israel is the biggest feeder off the Taxpayers teat not within the 50 states, minus DC of course.
