Poor Scotty, he always loves Honda and Toyota. Except for the new Toyota trucks that went to smaller turbo charged, for EPA milage standards. That Trump just eliminated via executive order.
Now the new Camry, all are hybrids, are on his radar.
He talks too much with his arms.
I saw this video yesterday. All that was “wrong” was a leaky window gasket that was making wind noises. He fixed it. No big deal.
Scotty is the best at over dramatizing “problems”. But he does know what he’s talking about.
Guy is a narcissistic video whore. Couldn’t stand more than a minute of the showman.
He's on video somewhere climbing under a car being supported only on jacks, which is just asking to get yourself deleted IMO.
There's a guy named Achmed, who runs a real-life garage in Chicago & has a channel called, ironically, "The Car Care Nut". He's not a nut; if you're interested in Toyota (or kin) maintenance or service, he's top notch ... EXCEPT that has imbibed the OEM Koolaide a little too much for my taste.
(No, you won't destroy your Toyota if you use a quality aftermarket oil filter instead of one that says "Toyota" on the box.)
Scotty is still at it ,LOL
I remember when he would do this is my last video every couple of months.
The “Don’t recommend this channel” choice was made for Scotty.
The person that I recently found and would recommend is Inside the Feeling who is a doctor that passes on good information to seniors.
Nearly ALL new cars suck ass.
He should be pissed at whoever cut his hair.
Scotty is actually thrilled, he just got his best chance for more clicks. Normal vehicles, even good vehicles are boring.
I want all my vehicles to be boring, just like my yearly physical.
“Rev up your...battery!”
We just got a 2026 Corolla cross. Gas engine, non hybrid. Gads, they want to shove that hybrod thing down your throat. We “ordered” it, and it took 6 months to get. apparently Toyota likes to build the hybrids first but they couldnt get components. so we had to wait. It finally showed up last week, cypress green and AWD—a rarity in the south due to marketing. Its a smooth riding car so far.
I bought a 2012 Toyota Prius and put 200k on it before it was totaled in 2020.
I used the insurance money and got another 2012 Prius with 150K and a slightly better model with money left over. Since then I’ve put 100k on it so it’s sitting at a bit over 250k.
No issues with either. I still get 45-50 mpg depending on winter vs summer gas. I can basically tell within a week when the shift occurs.
Sorry. That guy is unwatchable.
I have a 2012 Tacoma I bought brand new and still have it at 310k miles on it. Put in a total of maybe 4k in work on it over that time. But I hear the newer Toyotas in the last few years are crap. A lot of plastic parts that eluded to be metal. Ect
Just bought a 2025 Honda Accord LX. (Gas) Then found this article. Imagine our surprise. Except for the idiotic AIS (there’s a $89 module available to automate it, plugs into harness between AIS switch and power outlet) it’s the nicest car I’ve ever had.

The guy is a rambling idiot. I heard him once say you never need to change your power steering or brake fluid. Lost me there, that’s not an opinion, that’s just wrong. Yes, he does have a Toyota fetish. Never trust a guy with a hoarder’s garage.
I used to watch his videos. Scotty seems like an amiable guy, but I couldn’t take his clickbait titles and stopped watching him a few years ago.
