The child of an Italian citizen should qualify.

Many other applicants were tracing their ancestry far back to great-grandparents in the 1800s or early 1900s.

But, the law is a bit tricky regarding the maternal line. Here’s more information:

Well mother was born in the 20s so it would cause me to go in front of the courts. Prevents the children of all the war brides from easily claiming citizenship.
