VENTURA, Calif. (AP) — Britney Spears was arrested Wednesday night in Southern California and booked early the following morning, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s office, which didn’t say what charge she faces.
Messages seeking comment were left with the sheriff’s office; the California Highway Patrol, which was identified as the arresting agency; and Spears’ representative.
Spears was arrested around 9:30 p.m. in Ventura County and released on Thursday, sheriff’s office records show. She has a May 4 court date scheduled.
Spears, 44, born in Mississippi and raised in Louisiana, was a teen pop phenomenon who became a defining superstar of the ’90s and 2000s. She rose to fame from Disney Channel’s “The Mickey Mouse Club” to MTV and beyond, with such era-defining hits like “… Baby One More Time,” “Oops! … I Did It Again” and “Toxic.”

All of the above died by their mid 30s. All of them had substance issues.
There are dozens more than barely made it to their 40s or 50s in the entertainment industry.
Otis Reading died in a plane crash.

An old friend worked in the front office for an NFL team. She told me the story of a player who on the bye week went to his alma mater’s homecoming weekend. He got busted for DUI Friday night. Got released Saturday and busted again Saturday night. BTW, the team provided 7x24 driver services for all the players. So….

I wish her, Cory Haim, and Corey Feldman would spill the beans on the filth that run the child entertainment industry. Corey Feldman keeps teasing it but hasn’t yet. I would imagine, as a girl, Britney Spears was exposed to some seriously disgusting perverts and groomers working for Disney. I’m not going to bash her for drinking. I’m a drunkard too, but I never drive when I drink. But driving drunk, yeah, she Hopefully she gets some help and gets her soul right with God.
I feel sorry for that poor girl. She obviously has problems and not enough good friends.

If she was smart, she would move back to Mississippi or anywhere other than the LA area.
