Candace Owens announced on Monday that her show would be back on the air beginning Wednesday with a new “investigative series” targeting Erika Kirk, the widow of slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk, eliciting an abundance of horrified reactions.
The teaser trailer for the series shared by Owens on X begins with news coverage about Charlie Kirk’s assassination, but quickly transitions to clips of its subject, as well as critical commentary about her, “Zionists,” and Israel. There’s even a implication that the Turning Point USA CEO is implicated in a Romanian human trafficking scandal.
The series is titled “Bride of Charlie,” and its promotional banner depicts Erika wearing a crown.
Owens, who has promoted a wide variety of conspiracy theories about her former colleague’s death, had initially said she would stop if Erika asked her to. Over time, however, Owens began to subtly, and then outright suggest that the widow might have been involved in a conspiracy to betray her husband.
In the hours since Owens began to publicize her new project, much of the internet has united in disgust at her and those who have run cover for her.
“Everyday, there’s some new line being crossed by this lunatic that makes me wonder whether certain people will finally speak up,” mused RedState’s Bonchie. “They won’t, though. Not even this will be enough, and it’s probably time to start asking why they are so invested in Owens.”
“What would Charlie have to say about this? And what would he think of his so-called friends who can’t summon the courage to say it for him?” wondered The Babylon Bee’s Seth Dillon.

From what I read, a good number of people in the ‘files’ are just public figures who were mentioned in emails, perhaps because of something in the news. It’s ridiculous for people to be floating names as ‘in the files’ without including complete context.

I have never defended Candace Owen conspiracy theories at all.
On the other hand I have been a very harsh critic of Dan Bongino, particularly on the Epstein “suicide” declaration.
Dan promised us he would get to the bottom of a lot of stuff—and what we got was more of the same.
All the big evil players are still running free in the wild.
Denial cannot change that reality.
I have no idea what that means.
I just know that Lord Michael Farmer went to some length to disown Owens’ antisemitic tripe:
“how this Owens woman still gets traction is mystifying. She is positively evil.”
She and Tucker started going down that “evil” path around the same time. I think it was late in 2024 that Tucker had told many people that one night he had been visited/attacked by a demon. (Google TUCKER CARLSON DEMON; videos exist.)
Perhaps Candace also had a night visitor from the netherworld.
I guess I would rather Owens complete her unveiling of Macron married to a man before moving on to the next ‘big’ thing. The way this is going I guess Erika Kirk will be responsible for the eventual alien disclosure, 25% tariffs, Republicans losing the mid-terms bigly, and the Guthrie kidnapping into Mexico that triggered the current civil war that is currently hot there.

Some have said that the children are the reason. Post-partum depression which is common after childbirth. She may have jumped the line to actual post-partum psychosis, which isn’t as common but definitely a thing.
Candace is blaming everyone ELSE for Charlie’s death — methinks maybe too much...? She’s the scorned woman, so it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility that she herself is responsible. (My common disclaimer: I watch a lot of true crime.)
She’ll never come to grips with the facts that: (1) Charlie picked Erika and not her, and (2) she’ll never be white like Erika.
Well Erika Kirk may be a shallow, gold digging grifter but I wouldn’t go so far as to say she plotted Charlie’s death. She just has no problem capitalizing on it.
I don’t think Owens is involved in Charlie’s death; and I never knew much about Turning Point before that. But from what I HAVE seen of Owens, I think she’s a nasty piece of work. I hope against hope that the Macrons take her to the cleaners.
