“The Real History of Slavery” by Matt Walsh (Dropped Feb 18, 2026 – 1.5–2 hours of straight fire)
🔥 THE MAIN RED PILL (in one sentence) Slavery wasn’t America’s “unique sin.” It was humanity’s default setting for thousands of years — every race, every continent did it on a massive scale. America got the tiny scraps… then helped end it.
📊 THE NUMBERS THAT BLOW UP THE LIE • Africans shipped across the Atlantic: ~12.5 million • Only 3% (≈ 472,000) ever landed in what became the USA • Most went to Brazil (5.4 million) and Caribbean sugar hellholes
🩸 THE REAL VILLAINS MATT SPOTLIGHTS 1. African Kingdoms — especially Dahomey (modern Benin) • Ran a nonstop slave empire for centuries • Legendary all-female “Dahomey Amazons” raided villages nonstop • Kings like Gezo bragged slavery was the “ruling principle” of their people • Annual customs: 500+ people slaughtered every year • Skulls used as building bricks • Rivers of blood • Disembowelments, ant torture, mass executions • Africans sold their own people to Europeans (they couldn’t sail the ships) • Unsellable slaves? Tortured for fun
2. Islamic / Arab Slave Trade • 17 million Black Africans over 1,300+ years • 80–90% of males castrated (most died) • Barbary pirates (Muslim corsairs) kidnapped 1.5 million White Christian slaves (1500–1800) • From Ireland, Iceland, Italy, England • Whole villages dragged off • Women & kids sold as concubines/sex slaves • Men chained to galleys until they rotted • One night in 1631: Baltimore, Ireland — 100 people gone
3. Ancient & Global Slavery • Babylon (slaves on clay tablets from 3300 BC) • Egypt, Greece (Athens = 35% slaves), Rome (2–3 million slaves + crucifixion for runaways) • Sparta declared annual “war” on their own helots • Native Americans (ritual torture + cannibalism) • Vikings raiding Ireland • English enslaving the Irish • The list is endless
4. White Slavery in America • 60–70% of early White colonists arrived in chains (indentured servants, convicts, kidnapped kids) • Brutal death rates on ships • Black & White slaves worked side-by-side, rebelled together, intermingled • Peak 1860: Only 1.2% of U.S. population owned slaves • Thousands of owners were free Blacks (one owned 63) and Native tribes (Cherokees, etc.)
⚡ THE SPICY BITS THAT TRIGGER THE BLUE-HAIRS • Matt shows raw Dahomey footage: mass sacrifice, skull palaces, “sailing canoes in blood” • Calls out historians for sneaky passive voice (“slaves were obtained…”) to hide African agency • U.S. slavery was actually milder: • Slaves lived longer (avg 40 years) • After 1808 import ban, they reproduced at high rates • Owners had real incentive to keep them healthy • Compare that to Brazil/Caribbean death camps or Dahomey nightmare
🏆 THE FINAL PUNCHLINE No society on Earth abolished slavery until European Christian nations did it: • Britain’s West Africa Squadron • U.S. Civil War (400k Union dead) • French troops ended Dahomey’s horrors in 1894 (brought hospitals, schools, actual civilization)
Reparations? Laughable when every group enslaved and was enslaved. Documentary ends teasing next one: “The Real History of the American Indian” (peaceful noble savages? Yeah, right 😂)
VERDICT Raw. Fact-heavy. Zero apologies. Loaded with archival footage, direct quotes, and receipts. If you’re tired of the 1619-only selective history, this is the antidote. Matt’s core message: “Slavery is human history’s original sin — NOT America’s. And the West ended the shitshow.” Watch it before the censors memory-hole it. PURE FIRE. 🔥🔥🔥
This is no longer a normal exchange. It is getting irrational.
First you say there was no invasion.
Then you say that well, it was only a small invasion.
Then you say you were only joking.
Then you say you were serious and accuse me of o lie.
I am not surprised at your effort at circular obfuscation, Your reaction is typical of the ignorant being exposed.
I’d say generalizing that slavery limiting “opportunities” is quite the generalization.
And I understand the need to consider presentism.
I’m pretty confident that writing chattel slavery impaired the liberty of people is a valid statement both in the 1800’s and the 2000’s.
Very good, and welcome back.
A thinking exercise. Imagine yourself in 1850 as a 16 year old, living on a large farm, working as a harvester during crop season. What options do you have for a fulfilling life?
It depends on if my liberty is impaired.
Why would you want to continue to operate on a foundation of falsehoods?
The political capital gleaned from the lies taught about slavery has been so massive it’s the lifeline of leftism.
This explains the pushback against revealing the truth.
America did not perpetrate the enslavement of Africans, we ended it.
The question is directed at your knowledge of the time. Do you have any?
Who is operating under falsehoods?
There was nothing new in that post? It’s not my fault people are uneducated.
You completely miss my point. I will restate it: It’s history. We should learn from it. And then move on. People re-living century old history is a waste of energy and time. Being butt-hurt over what your great great grandparents did is the definition of stupid.
Ah. For sake of this discussion, I'll ask you to ask direct questions.
Yes, have read several period primary sources from slaves in the US about slave life. My top three:
Narrative of the Life - Frederick Douglass
Twelve Years a Slave - Solomon Northup
Scenes in the Life of Harriet Tubman
So, on to your assertion, “It depends on if my liberty is impaired.”
Your comments on 1850?
I never said it was an invasion and I was being sarcastic about your claim that it was. You’re twisting my words. That makes you an even worse liar.
I believe so, as if I was a slave in 1850 my liberty would be impaired.
Again, based on your knowledge, describe how your Liberty would be imparted.
Well, for starters:
1) As chattel property, slaves were liable to be sold, traded, etc without their consent;
2) Slaves were unable to enjoy legal freedom of movement to any state in the Union;
3) Slaves were unable to legally own property;
4) Slaves were unable to legally marry (and be legally entitled to the benefits that flowed by a legal marriage);
Now we are arriving at the truth.
As of 4/7/1861, News of Lincoln’s decision to send the naval task force to Sumter was published in the Northern newspapers. Charleston, South Carolina newspapers picked up the story that a US fleet was sailing for Charleston and Florida.
The “relief” squadron consisted of 10 ships, 1400 soldiers, and 285 cannon on the way south.
Therefore, Charleston authorities had hard evidence of impending action.
It is fact that they knew this. It is fact that Lincoln was ordering action.
It is fact that Charleston defended itself.
Your attempt to mitigate these hard facts via word games reveals your unwillingness to live in truth. Denying truth is irrational.
Perhaps you simply do not know what you do not know. Either way, you are unqualified for further discussion.
Given that laws and customs varied between states, you have listed valid points.
Having made that case, would you provide a case for 750,000 lives lost to address those issues.
Following
Which is it PeaBrain? Before you said it was 3 sloops and some transports that you listed by name. Plus 200 soldiers. Even if it was what you’re now saying, that’s just enough force to fully garrison Fort Sumter. Not mount a serious invasion. Give it up. The CSA started the firing first. That’s all that counted, whatever the excuse it put the onus of aggression on them.
The conversation is terminated.
The history you were taught is the falsehood I’m talking about.
