(NewsNation) — “Today” co-host Savannah Guthrie is weighing a permanent exit from the top-rated morning show as the frantic search for her mother, Nancy Guthrie, drags into its third week, sources tell NewsNation’s Paula Froelich.
Savannah Guthrie has been on leave as the FBI and authorities in Pima County, Arizona, pursue investigative leads into Nancy Guthrie’s Feb. 1 disappearance from her Tucson area home. It’s believed the 84-year-old grandmother was taken, and media outlets have received bitcoin ransom demands.
“This absolutely came out of the blue, and I think she’s really concerned that it was because of her job,” Froelich, NewsNation senior story editor, told “NewsNation Prime” on Saturday.

I didn't refer to a past case of a right-wing nut committing a political crime. In fact, I can't think of a single case where a right-wing nut has done such a thing. Maybe the nut who left a bomb at the DNC on J7, but since they also left a bomb at the RNC it seems kind of unlikely.
Oh, and I noticed you still haven't tried to tell me where I'm wrong.

But here are 5 political cases that fit the pattern of my theory very closely, except in the other direction!
Reminder: on the number line, the distance to -5 is the same as the distance to 5, but in the opposite direction.
1) Crime: attempted assassination of candidate Donald Trump in Butler, PA.
Ideology of intended victim: right-wing.
Perp: left-wing nut.
2) Crime: attempted assassination of President Donald Trump near his golf course in Florida.
Ideology of intended victim: right-wing.
Perp: left-wing nut.
3) Crime: attempted assassination of President Donald Trump but I can’t remember where on this one.
Ideology of intended victim: right-wing.
Perp: left-wing nut.
4) Crime: murder of Charlie Kirk in Utah.
Ideology of victim: right-wing.
Perp: left-wing nut.
5) Crime: murder of CEO in New York.
Ideology of victim: unknown but he represented “evil capitalism” to the perp and so I list him as right-wing.
Perp: left-wing nut.

My theory in the Nancy Guthrie case:
Crime: abduction of elderly woman from her home (at least).
Ideology of victim: the woman’s daughter works for a left-wing “news” program. My wife says the daughter is obnoxiously left-wing and I believe the crime was intended to hurt the daughter as much as possible.
Perp: unknown but my theory is right-wing nut.
Convince me I’m wrong.

Or will this level of government concern continue to be reserved for elites?
I don’t get that either. Cameras provide peace of mind by allowing you to check on your home, they cannot physically stop a break-in. A Life alert at the least.

She was on meds that were necessary every 24 hours or death would result. Those meds were still in the house. So there’s about 100% chance you’re correct.
