Sir Mick Jagger’s fiancée Melanie Hamrick has revealed she was 'physically attacked' and mugged in the upmarket London district of Mayfair.
The ballerina, 38, took to Instagram on Wednesday morning to detail what had happened to her, saying two muggers grabbed her from behind - leaving her 'shaken' and 'heartbroken'.
Melanie wrote: 'This is incredibly hard to share, but I was physically attacked at Annabels Mayfair tonight.
'I’m so thankful to my friends for protecting me. Two people grabbed me from behind and thank god for good people who stepped in to help me.
'I’m shaken, sad and heartbroken that people can treat each other this way.'
The attack is believed to have taken place outside the private members' club in Berkeley Square. The Daily Mail has contacted the Metropolitan Police and the club for comment.
Melanie, who danced with the American Ballet Theatre for 15 years before retiring in 2019, has been in a relationship with 82-year-old Rolling Stones rocker Sir Mick since 2014. They share a young son, Devereux.
It comes amid a series of brazen daytime heists hitting some of London's most expensive stores - with thieves swiping thousands of pounds worth of luxury watches, handbags and jewellery.

It's amazing how his hair bangs arrange themselves almost identically over the years.
Guy still puts on a great show. More power to him.
Sadly, I can’t listen to that without thinking about what happened to Merry the day after she recorded the vocals.
I certainly agree. He works out constantly to be able to do so. I heard their latest tour was cancelled because, unbelievably, It was Keith Richards suffering from old age—severe arthritis in his hands that would interfere with his guitar work.
