Allegedly even air ambulances are grounded.

Juarez airport remains open.

I’m betting on a missing MPAD or a Russian one and a credible threat.

Second choice is a UAP of some kind.

What I saw and heard last night was bizarre.

White Sands is huge and I have not been able to find out which parts are the important parts that would be targeted in a nuclear war.

Saw speculation about Holloman and WSMR. They have hosted Precis>on Navigation and Timing Experiments PNTAX in the past. Should have been much more warning.

Not figuring it out is part of the design.

I’ve made wrong turns there and got greeted by very unfriendly gentlemen with rifles in uniform with zero insignia or rank.

Biggs Army Airfield (Ft. Bliss) is right next door to El Paso International.

I wonder if something related to Mexican Cartels is happening at Ft. Bliss?

Called a buddy who is stationed at Holloman AFB.

They had no warning either, which he took as indication this is not a drill or test of any kind.

Juarez airport remains open.

The Juarez airport would remain open if the Mexican authorities know that this is a threat from their soil against American aircraft across the border. Assuming again that this is related to missiles, in the hands of either Iranians or the cartels (who would likely be assisting the Iranians in such a scenario), if I were Trump I would warn the Mexican president that if so much as a single missile is fired from Mexican soil into U.S. airspace, we are coming in with full force and no restrictions. Go in and erase the cartels from the map. And once finished, we might take a security buffer, remove all Mexican nationals from that land, and move the border wall to the southern side of it.

I wouldn’t play around with them for one more minute, given their double-dealing on illegal invaders, drug trafficking, and now (perhaps) with permitting terrorists to operate from their soil. Of course, that is all just speculation right now, and we’ll have to wait and see what this actually is, if they even tell us.

I do know one thing: If this is related to a missile threat, and it becomes public at some point, good luck getting a large segment of the U.S. population on an aircraft anytime soon, no matter where it originates. I have no doubt that factor is playing into how they handle this and what is said, or not said, publicly (again, assuming this is missile-related).

“White Sands is huge and I have not been able to find out which parts are the important parts that would be targeted in a nuclear war.”

There’s nothing to target there.

Looking at the sectional chart for that area, it looks like that second area around Santa Teresa, NM that is included in the TFR is part of the El Paso Class C airspace. Since the TFR was for the TRACON airspace, that area would also be part of the TRACON’s responsibility, so it looks like they closed all airspace within a certain distance from the Mexican border that is under the control of El Paso TRACON. The only thing is, that block of airspace that is restricted around Santa Teresa, NM is not contiguous with the closure around the El Paso airport. There is a significant gap between them.

Very strange.

No mention of White House schedules and New Mexico.

I’d look there 1st.

It’s noteworthy that this airport is within the radius of possible locations for Nancy Guthrie.

Strange Drill.
Way too public and shutting down a medium sized airport?

Family in ELP said there was significant (more so than usual) LOUD air traffic, yesterday. They described the sound similarly.
