This is just one more example of a Tucker-Carlson-esque pattern of doing anything he can to avoid showing sympathy to Israel and the Jews. ...
Vance: "Today we remember the millions of lives lost during the Holocaust, the millions of stories of individual bravery and heroism, and one of the enduring lessons of one of the darkest chapters in human history: that while humans create beautiful things and are full of compassion, we're also capable of unspeakable brutality. And we promise never again to go down the darkest path."

I saw an interview with Gene Simmons the other day about his family in the concentration camps. He mentioned the Gypsies Christian Jews Catholic you name it. Hitler didn’t care.
“American Thinker is practically an Israeli mouthpiece.”
I don’t think so. I don’t think it has any consistent Conservative perspective, but just a collection of not very uniform and even not always Conservative viewpoints. They just offer their venue for publishing writers generally not publishing much of anywhere else.
“Maybe the editor at American Thinker is in a coma.”
My comment has been pending for more than two hours now. Maybe they are going to convene the Board of Directors.
More Christians were killed in the Holocaust than Jews but nobody mentions that — and the overwhelming majority of them were killed for helping/protecting the Jews.
Are you aware that Poland has the highest death rate of people killed for helping/protecting Jews?
Look up the Ulma family; a whole family including little kids and their pregnant mother were murdered for hiding two Jewish families in their attic.
If push comes to shove, how many would shelter/protect white people/Christians from the genocidal left — and the ultimate leftist goal is genocide.
Good lord... we have a Holocaust Museum even though we had nothing to do with it. No Pol Pot Museum, no Mao Museum, no Rawanda Museum etc.
We have a unit in the DOJ hunting down 100 year old nazis.
We support Israel like no other nation. Netanyahu has pretty much met with Trump every two months since we was sworn in.
Trump covered up the Epstein/Mossad spy ring.
They own Congress, and 250 of them made the Israeli junket during recess.
Exactly how much more do we need to do?
Hey, Robin you moron, Vance stands with Israel. The left are the ones using the Holocaust for political gain.
“As I understand it, Catholics and Gypsies were also killed during the Holocaust. ... why are they never mentioned? Are their lives less sacred?”
How many tens of millions of Christians were killed in China and Russia? There were more Christian martyrs in the 20th century than in the early days of the Church. You don’t hear about it because media, entertainment and education despise Christians.
Who’s Number One?
If you’re going by total number of people murdered, Mao and the CCP win by a landslide.
If you’re going by fraction of the available population, it’s probably Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge.
By ‘sheer coincidence’, both were communist.
The Jews killed , were killed JUST because they were Jews. Jewish Christians were also killed. The died because they were Jews. And this article is crap.
Zionists like the author of this piece don’t trust Vance when it comes to Israel and prefer a neocon like Rubio instead. I’m guessing they will continue attacking Vance unless Vance starts sucking up to Israel in a big way.
The Nazis killed everyone “not fit.” Mentally retarded were the first. Then the disable. Then they rounded up “political prisoners” intellectuals, Roma, Sinta, Commies, and then Jews.
FYI There is a very nice memorial for the Roma in Berlin worth visiting for a few minutes. Nothing big. Just a room with a pool and skylight but very nice to visit and pay your respects if you ever go. The holocaust memorial looks like a silly stack of dominos lined up ready to get knocked over. If you really want a tear jerker there are memorials of Jewish grave markers placed in fields because the Nazis tore them up and used them for roads and the cemeteries were plowed over and lost to history. Track 17 is also particularly touching.
“However, National SOCIALIST racial ideology listed a collection of “inferior races” (untermenschen), all of which were to be exterminated. Slavic people were on that list right up there with Jews.”
This is the great thing about Communism! People of all religions, races, political belief systems and sexual preferences were killed.
Now that’s real equality you can believe in!
“Catholics weren’t killed because they were Catholics. “
If you are the one being killed, the difference is academic at best.
Many countries are de facto ethno-states though minorities may live there—since the minorities have no real power.
—China
—India
—Japan (and other smaller East and South Asia countries)
—Russia
—Saudi Arabia (and most Arab countries)
—some Eastern European countries
as just some examples.
The US and Western Europe (and Canada, Australia, New Zealand) are the “melting pots”.
History will decide which model worked better.
“when the Harris campaign vetting process includes the questions about his interactions with Israeli agents, as revealed by Shapiro in his recent book?”
He claims HE was in the IDF, it would be irresponsible for a campaign -not- to ask him about his interactions with Israeli agents.
Mao killed around 77 million according to Rudolph Rummel.
It was not a small percentage of China in that era.
“The Nazis killed everyone “not fit.” Mentally retarded were the first. Then the disable. “
And today we see assisted suicide, euthanasia, and calls to abort babies with Downs, or to select their sex, etc.
As with Germany, we are starting small.
That's beside the point. There would be no logical reason to mention the fact that Catholics were killed (unlike Jews or Gypsies) when remembering Holocaust. I guess there were some atheists murdered. Should that be mentioned?
They would even kill you for having a Jewish grandfather at least, or even further back.
Also having a WWI Iron Cross didn’t protect you.
