The health issues included lymphedema and fluid buildup in her lungs, with the source saying the fluid was a possible factor in her death. A cause of death is not yet known.
Pierce, who was once known as the 'world's fattest woman' after weighing in at 778 pounds, chronicled her efforts to lose weight on the TLC series, where she would drop 282 pounds.
Pierce's daughter Charly Jo also confirmed the passing, writing on her Facebook that her mother is now 'finally at peace.'

Huh? Facts are not left or right. There are no really old really fat people. Because they die, you know at age 50, like this chick here. If you haven’t observed this axiom, I don’t know what to tell you.

Before I forget, to your point, it is leftists who have recently taken to flat out denying there is any link whatsoever with Obesity to increased mortality. They claim medical doctors are guilty of “white supremacy” when they talk about metabolic syndrome, type II diabetes and such. Thus the “healthy at any weight” nonsense. It is truly criminal.

Pierce, who was once known as the ‘world’s fattest woman’ after weighing in at 778 pounds. What do you eat to get that heavy?
Pathologically extreme obesity -- BMIs of 80+ -- is actually two things at once. It's a multi-factor (brain and metabolic) disorder that makes you want to, and able to, eat 5,000+ calories a day without ever being satiated for many years running. But that's not enough, because when you get to BMIs at that level you lack the mobility to obtain food at the massive quantities you need to maintain that kind of weight. You only get there and stay there when friends or family enable it by supplying you with the food necessary to eat that much.

There’s a chance cremation is out too. It has already happened that a cremation oven was destroyed by out of control fire precipitated by an immensely obese person. Fat goes up like gasoline.

My wife’s nephew died Christmas Day at the age of 49 from liver problems and for most of his life weighed about 300 pounds.

There’s always the option of burial in a piano case (see link). Arrangements could be a graveside service, no pall bearers needed, just a crane. Not sure where they’d get a vault that big - most cemeteries require them. She did weigh a lot less than this guy (1041).

"If you go to Daily Mail to watch that film about Charity, gird your loins! It shows her going through various acts of daily living, disrobing, getting into the shower, and yes, even sitting on the toilet!! She must have been getting paid a princely sum to allow a camera crew into the bathroom and bedroom with her. What did she spend all those earnings on? One guess immediately comes to mind."

Yes. I had a few of these mega whales for patients, they don’t live too long.

OMG! It’s incredible what extremes the human body can be pushed to, and still with keeping that person alive, if not fully functioning.
