Are you serious? The nurse is most likely a Lib and there’s no love lost there, but it is shocking how anti 2A the ‘Right’ can get when it’s convenient. The Lib had a right to have a firearm and to carry magazines (not clips, magazines …). I am surprised how anti 2A people are getting just because it’s ’their guy’ who got shot and ‘our guy’ on the political side.

Where was such thinking when Kyle Rittenhouse showed up at the Kenosha riots with an AR-pattern rifle and actually shot at people. Or was that OK because in that instance it was ‘our guy.’

Where was that thinking when brave patriots showed up to protest against COVID regulations, all carrying rifles and dressed in camo?

Do people not understand they are using the same talking points as Beto ORouke? Or that the silly stuff FBI Director Kash Patel is saying WILL BE USED in the future as evidence ‘even Conservatives agree no guns are allowed at protests’ when the Democrats eventually get back in power.

The Lib, silly as he is, had every right to carry a pistol, to carry as many clips …erm, magazines …as he wanted to, as any American has. In the same way Kyle had every right to walk with a rifle.

Only issue for the Lib is he should have carried something that is not a SiG P320 (real gun guys know why I say that). Additionally, new footage actually shows he was shot after the gun had already been removed and secured by an agent

Idiot.

No one is questioning his 2nd amendment rights.

The question is why he brought the gun and the clip to a possibly confrontational situation with ICE?

Keep your mouth shut and off my posts you ignorant jagoff

I don’t see anyone saying that Mr. Pretti didn’t have the right to carry. But the 2nd amendment isn’t some kind of bullet-proof vest. Sure Pretti can pack a weapon into an altercation with armed federal agents, but that doesn’t mean that agents have to ignore the risk posed by the man’s weapon. The fact that he was armed worked against him in this situation. Them’s the breaks. You pay your money, you take your chances. Pretti was playing with fire when he decided to carry into a physical skirmish with armed federal agents. Sorry, but he picked this fight. He went looking for trouble, and he found it. FAFO, as the kids say.

whats with the Rittenhouse comparisons i keep seeing. Completely different laws between open carrying a long rifle and conceal carrying a pistol. With a CCW, ANY contact with police , you have to tell them that you are armed. This guy didnt do that. Rittenhouse was attacked and legally defended himself. This idiot here was the attacker. You resist arrest and fight with cops and you are armed, i guarantee you are getting shot.

Wow, you have the antics talking points down perfect, almost exactly word for word with what others have posted on other social media.

Rittenhouse doesn’t even remotely compare to this guy. Rittenhouse wasn’t there to protest at all. He wasn’t even a counter protester when the incident occurred.

He was in town to protect a friend’s business from possibly being looted or vandalized by protesters. It wasn’t the center of protests, it was a private business lot where there should have been no anti-police activists and protests at all.

It was perfectly OK for Rittenhouse to shoot back when he was attacked.
It wasn’t the police he was shooting at, he wasn’t struggling with the police, and he wasn’t interfering in a police operation.

Bingo. Constitutional rights know no political party.

Carrying a gun in MN in the commission of another crime is a crime in and of itself and since he was also not carrying his ID in the commission of another crime (interfering with law enforcement, obstruction, impeding, etc) he had no 2nd amendment right to carry it.

“Additionally, new footage actually shows he was shot after the gun had already been removed and secured by an agent.”

Are you just blatantly lying? If it actually happened that way it would be shouted from the mountaintops and plastered everywhere.

Reports are that his Parents warned him not to engage with ICE agents. This suggests he was expressing a desire to confront ICE agents.

Rittenhouse was armed as a self-defense measure and to provide a deterrent to those seeking to destroy private property. He shoot at people who were attacking him. That is qualitatively different than seeking a potentially violent confrontation with ICE agents while armed.

As Camille Paglia told idiot feminists, “yes you have the right to go walking in Central Park at 2 in the morning, but, c’mon, girl, where is your brain?” This guy’s father told him to not go doing something stupid. He should have listened to his father.

Time out. I haven't seen anyone saying he didn't have the right. I'm saying as are others, that carrying when you know damn well you are going to be in a confrontation with LEOs is a damn foolish thing to do. The guy FA and won the grand prize.

Where was such thinking when Kyle Rittenhouse showed up at the Kenosha riots with an AR-pattern rifle and actually shot at people.

Do you mean when police units thanked Rittenhouse and gave him bottles of water?

Rittenhouse was not a protester or rioter, he was there protecting a friend's business.

USA Today (August 29, 2020): Fact check: Police gave Kyle Rittenhouse water and thanked him before shooting

Police officer (over a loudspeaker): “You need water? Seriously. (unintelligible) You need water?”

Rittenhouse, raising his arm and walking toward the police vehicle: “We need water.”

Police officer: “We’ll throw you one.”

Rittenhouse then walks out into the street amid several police vehicles, holding his hand in the air for a water bottle. An officer surfaces from a hatch at the top of the police vehicle and tosses a water bottle to a person located just out of the camera’s view, where Rittenhouse would likely be standing based on the preceding footage.

Police officer: “We got a couple. We’ve got to save a couple, but we’ll give you a couple. We appreciate you guys, we really do.”

The Lib, silly as he is, had every right to carry a pistol...

That was true, right up to the point he started committing felonies.

He scrubbed his social media before heading out the door, likely covering up his Felony Conspiracy.

After that, once he committed Felony Interference as well as Aiding and Abetting, he forfeited any right he had to carry a weapon.
