For most drivers, gas stations are a necessary evil. For fans of Buc-ee's, they are a destination - and now the beaver-branded giant is about to pop up in more states than ever before.
By the end of 2026, the 'Disneyland of gas stations' will open four more of its iconic outposts, with another 15 planned in the years that follow. Scroll down to see the full list.

Try saying it 3 times, fast (without a dry napkin nearby). Not easy.

We have been to a couple, over the years. They have great bathrooms and jerky. The staff is always nice. They have a ton of gas pumps. We did not get gas there, though, because it is not a Top Tier Gas compliant fuel. Since going with Top Tier Gas, over a decade ago, we’ve never had a fuel-related problem or ever needed an injector cleaning or additive. It’s a no-brainer to stay with Top Tier Gas.My F150 went to 250,000 miles before I sold it and bought a new Truck. I always used the cheapest gas available and had no problems.

We found out they don’t allow water refills, at least free ones.
It is widely believed here in Arizona that businesses are required by law to offer free water. It is an urban legend (which I had believed until I just now looked it up).
Nonetheless, it is bad form for a major business to not offer at least tap water in the desert.

Phoenix Arizona! We are On The Map!
Far western edge. (Surprise, I think)
It will be an hour drive for me from Mesa. I'll skip the non-Top Tier gas (Circle K is also generally NOT Top Tier, QT generally IS)
However, Winco stopped carrying Bacon Jerky, so I will look for that, and try the peanut butter cups when my wife is not imposing a diet on me.
The brisket sounds tempting, but whenever I get brisket at a decent BBQ place (e.g. Little Miss BBQ), I regret not getting something else. For my daughter's birthday, I took her there and had beef spare ribs, no disappointment, except for my wallet.

I don’t find their gasoline to be a bargain in comparison to Wal-Mart.

I live in Texas, but I am not a Buc-ee’s fan.
I especially worry about them putting other places out of business, especially The Czech Stop/Czech Bakery, in West, where I always stop by on my way back to DFW.

Agree. I always use Top Tier. Also, pumps are kind of a madhouse. But great place to pee if can handle the parking lot traffic.

“Also, pumps are kind of a madhouse. But great place to pee if can handle the parking lot traffic.” You pee between the pumps, too?! I thought I was the only one!

18. Murfreesboro, Tennessee – Expected Spring 2026 Murfreesboro won't be open in the spring but the last I heard they are hoping to be open before Thanksgiving. I'm kind of looking forward to it as it will only be like three or four miles away, but it is on my way to Walmart, and now I'll have three more stop lights to go through to get to Walmart because of them. So I'll be going to the other nearby Walmart in the opposite direction more, It all depending on time of day and maybe I'll avoid going by the Bucc-ee's direction on the weekends, time will tell.

It seems like there are daily news reports on this. Once it opens they'll have to go back to apartment fires.

I've been running ethanol free in my 2015 F150 SuperCrew. Over 140,000 miles now and need to service injectors. We have subzero temperatures in Winter, so using an ethanol contaminated fuel that attracts water is a no go.
