What is the total number of subscribers to Free Republic?
Meaning, those with an ID and posting privilege.

They may not want their competition or advertisers knowing that absolute number. Well, that’s sort of the way I tend to think about any business related issues. I could be wrong.
“That’s like asking Rolex how many watches they produce.”
I don’t understand the analogy.
There is no competition or advertisers.
>>... That’s like asking Rolex how many watches they produce<<<
But the answer to that question is not important to FReepers
This blurb has been on the Home Page for longer (20 plus years) than I've been here.
Over 400,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic since inception in 1996 and our forum is read daily by over one hundred thousand freedom loving citizens and patriots from all around the country, and all around the world. We're currently delivering over twenty million pageviews per month to over one million monthly visitors.
Oh, we're big stuff all right:
You want to know “the average unique daily log-ins”?
Count off...

That link doesnt work
Since amazon took over
The real question is how many unique accounts have posted here in the past week/month/year?
Every once in a while someone will bump to the top an old zombie thread from 2013 or so. I'll find myself clicking on each thread participant and see so many are banned and so many others haven't posted here in years, often accounts who I recall used to be regular posters here.
The number of registered accounts I am sure is quite large. The number of active posters? Far, far less.
Yeah, I was just looking for current members.
It just be above 8,100 right?
If everyone would contribute just $10 a month the nut is made.
Everyone here can afford that...they afford internet/phone/computer etc.
But they don’t contribute?
No matter. That 400,000 number may have been wishful thinking 25 years ago, but not even close today.
I’d guess maybe 20,000 members with maybe 2,000 active users these days.

I don’t know why FReepers get all wadded up over FReepathon contributions anyway.
The current business model has worked well for over a quarter of a century.
1. Quarterly FReepatons that’s last 88 some odd days.
2. The goal is always reached a day or two before the Freepathon ends.
3. Meanwhile Jim (Now Chris) posts a daily FREEPATHON CHALLENGE in Breaking News which no one responds to.
4. A new FReepathon begins a day or two after the old one ends. Again - the goal is met some 88 days later.
5. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
This is a successful business model. Otherwise they would do something else.
Your donation should be based upon what you value their site to be worth within, your range of affodability.
I’m sorry, I was in the shower.
What did I miss?
