Was the military struck by some out-of-the-ordinary rash of personnel refusing to obey lawful orders after that video was published?

You dispute that Mr. Kelly violated Articles 133 and 134 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice?

Absolutely. I think trying to prosecute a sitting U.S. Senator and retired member of the military for making an accurate recitation of U.S. military law is a laughably bad case. I've said repeatedly that Hegseth should have him charged under the UCMJ if he actually believes him to have violated it.

But he won't.

It would be funny if he did, though, so I'm definitely rooting for it.

Yes.
The statement he made was not incorrect and he made no mention of any existing orders that he held to be illegal.
