It's a video, but probably a very interesting one.

My answer is that God did not send Islam to punish mankind. When you leave God, God lets you suffer the consequences of your decisions. Nature abhors a vacuum and making God absent leaves you prone to idealogical vulnerabilities.

Very much agree.

God wants you upright to sing with him.
Allah demands you kneel with your butt in the air in submission.

No.

The giant bell-curve of life requires it.

Where there is darkness, there is light.

Where there is good, there is evil.

Well said.

I would add, Islam looks like a fake totalitarian religion Satan cobbled together from Judao/Christianity.

As is said about socialism, its features are so appealing (or not) that they have to be forced on a population with totalitarianism (i.e., total control of every aspect of your life).

I think it more likely that God sent Islam to punish believers in Allah.

I had a mystical sort of rabbi at Chabad. Great guy.

He said, “G-d is so vast we cannot possibly understand him. G-d is essentially the nature of the universe. We can look at the outcomes of behaviors in the natural world to understand whether G-d approves of them or not.”

islam sucks for its adherents. There is no successful islamic country on the planet except those WE built on their oil.

G-d is clearly opposed to islam because it is a failure for humans.

islam indicts itself with “Inshallah”, approximately “if it is allah’s will”. “allah” apparently hates islam and muslims, because his will is apparently to keep them poor, enalaved to others, and murdering other humans.

"Nature abhors a vacuum"

There's nothing like the universe to bring you down to earth, but here we are making plans for colonizing the moon and venturing out even further. If we'd have let the vacuum of space get in the way, we would never have gotten off the ground in the first place. I've always admired the courage, intellect and defiance it takes to fly in the face of the vacuum of space (rhyme not intended). The earth isn't going anywhere but we are, and "Allah" and Islam don't have to like it. If we hadn't allowed ourselves to err on the side of caution (or not) then the possibilities would be so far from being endless that our minds and imaginations would have atrophied by now. To fly in the face of the vacuum of space is not to fool mother nature, it's just what we do and we don't owe her an apology.

We may disagree on who sent it, but I think we can agree on what it is.

Agreed.

It’s a bent of human nature, the sin nature really, that man does not tend to seek God when things are going well.

Ideally, it would be fantastic if people sought after God out of love and gratitude for what He has done for them, but we don’t.

It’s only during times of trouble that we seek Him.

The great thing is, He loves us so much, that instead of being offended by that, He uses that to draw us to Himself. So no, I don’t believe that God sent islam to punish us, but He did allow it’s expansion, because we (mankind) allowed for it and He can use it.

When you leave God, God lets you suffer the consequences of your decisions.

Amen

He needs to be invited back into our institutions, our culture, our homes and our hearts.

During the Reformation, some Protestant leaders like Martin Luther saw Islam (specifically the Ottoman Empire) as a scourge or punishment for Christendom’s sins or corruption within the Church

There are those in Islam who have only been exposed to that socio-political system that masquerades as a religion and know nothing of any other. Will God in His Mercy assure that they hear of His Word and have the opportunity to accept it?

Did God send Islam to punish mankind?

This is deep. Very relevant to our current times. First and foremost, this is an extremely delicate area to tread because one would not want to act as if access to God’s Throne to have direct interaction with the Almighty Himself is available to any Tom, Dick and Harry. Jesus Christ the Intercessor and the Holy Spirit...all three know exactly why Islam has manifested for over 1400 years.

The timing of the advent of Islam occurring after the Council of Nicea (325AD) lends credence to the notion that the Council of Nicea being a “political compromise” was an abomination before God ...ie. Nicea was a desperate attempt to manufacture social cohesion thus God could have allowed the advent of Islam to punish_torment the post Nicea apostate system however more proof would be needed.

The prophetic promises in Genesis 17:20 made to Abraham’s son Ishmael may also be
related to Islam’s advent.

The issue of Islam is one of the advanced imponderables associated with certain key events in God’s prophetic timelines

Christian church system
