In a speech at the December 2025 Turning Point USA summit in Phoenix, Arizona, Vice President J.D. Vance declared, “In the United States, you don’t have to apologize for being white anymore.”
There was an overwhelming and immediate meltdown on the left, replete with the usual vile epithets and accusations of “white supremacy,” as headlines on the internet blared, “JD Vance Goes Full White Nationalist at TPUSA Event,” and NPR declared, “Vance Refuses to Set Red Line Over Bigotry at Turning Point USA’s Convention.”
Within this echo chamber, the accusations of blatant racism assumed avalanche proportions. New York Times columnist Jamelle Bouie proclaimed, “The Vice President is a Klansman.” Independent journalist Jennifer Schulze argued, “I don’t think the mainstream media can possibly report on just how vile and dangerous this JD Vance diatribe is. Some will gloss over the extremism; others will both sides it. So, people need to watch the actual video to see/hear for themselves the white nationalist venom spewing from this monster.” Typical of the hysterical reaction on the far-left social media site Bluesky is from the widely followed user PhillipUSA, who wrote, “JD Vance is a self-proclaimed [----]ing racist.”
On a more personal basis, I received an email from a former college professor regarding Vance’s speech and appearance at TPUSA. Her message was that unless I and others who support Trump denounce Vance, we are complicit in advocating white supremacy and further that the White race should apologize for centuries of racism and oppression. My reply is as follows:
I am a member of the Caucasian race and of European heritage, I am a naturalized citizen of the United States, and I am a Christian. I am extraordinarily proud of being all the above and revel in the overwhelming life-changing achievements of the United States.

Stop? I never have and never will. I also will not apologize to anyone for being a Southerner. I have no need to. Like everybody else in history, my ancestors were products of their time. Indeed we all are today.
I’m quite proud of my heritage and will tell one and all that I have every bit as much right to take pride in my heritage as anyone else has to take pride in his/hers. Anyone who says otherwise is a disgusting, evil, vile, hateful, racist, bigot.
Not only is it mostly “minorities” in the ads, but when they DO show a white, it’s either a white woman with a black man, a white male who’s a dumb doofus using the wrong product and who has to be educated by a smarter woman or POC, or it’s a white male burglar breaking into the beautiful suburban home of an attractive black couple. Or occasionally, an older white couple and their mixed-race grandchild. All of these send clear messages. We need to stop putting up with this. They wouldn’t dare do this to any other race.

In addition to lawsuits such organizations would create press conferences by organization leadership, protests outside corporate headquarters, letters and email and telephone campaigns targeting corporate executive and boards of directors, etc.

Studies show that minorities will NOT respond to ads without representation. White people will respond to ads no matter the color of the participants.
Now who is racist?
The objective of Critical Race Theory is to shame whites into admitting guilt for historical grievances for which they have no responsibility. It is the key factor in the racial spoils system. JD is right. Current whites have nothing to apologize for. Whites have spent trillions subsidizing blacks with nothing but ingratitude to show for the expense.

One can also point out that when some commie trash condemns whites it is also condemning all hispanics . SAmerica was settled by two groups (aside the imported black slaves); Asians who came across the land bridge in 40,000BC and Spanish/Portugese later on.
So, Hispanics are either white or Asian.

And I don’t apologize for my hard work and where it has gotten me, either.

Aside from a few professional race hustlers who make their living off it, I really don’t see any people of color asking white people to apologize for being white. It’s usually white liberals, who hate everything about themselves.
Yes; I have heard that, too.
I supposed there’s NFW we ever will be treated fairly.
I am white and I have absolutely nothing to apologize for and much to be proud of.
Whatever evils whites might have done other races have done that and worse. But when it comes to which race has contributed most to civilization - such as science, technology, medicine, art, music, governance, philosophy, etc - no other race comes close.
So absolutely no apologies!
Oh my gosh, seriously?! I guess they had to put a white person for St. Patrick’s Day, but everyone else is black? I wonder if they have a web site where you can contact them or leave comments. Looks like they don’t want white customers, and maybe they shouldn’t have any. Oh, what am I saying? They won’t care.

I consider myself a tan pink color and not white.
I have written numerous articles for American Thinker and the old layout really could have been much better. It’s now looking like a site I can proudly call home for my work.
“It’s OK to be White.”
A mild statement of fact.
There should be NO controversy over it, but it is condemned as racist and schools go into panic mode over the words on a sheet of paper.
This is all proof that the left wants to eliminate Whites after forcing them to submit to being a scorned caste, subject to the ruling castes.
