Our mythical figure of Father Christmas is really no more than a modern incarnation of Odin, the chief god of the Nordic peoples. The earliest evidence for this was found in the London district of Dagenham.
An atheist lecturing on Christmas, something they know noting about, how dem.
Finishing up a book called The Star of Bethlehem by Michael R. Molnar. He puts the birth on April 17, 6 b.c., based on the Star charts that the “three wise men” used that led them to baby Jesus. Lots of history, math, and Star charts. Coins minted in the day led to new clues.
Merry Christmas
“Anyone have the details?”

Exactly what I needed to provide for friends the background story of Old St. Nicholas and Santa! Merry Christmas!

Here is another great rundown: https://drmsh.com/september-11-happy-birthday-to-jesus/
December 25 has nothing to do with any winter solstice. That’s four days off. In the THIRD century AFTER Christ, the last pagan emperor before Constantine instituted In Sol Invictus to compete with Christmas... again, about three centuries AFTER Christ.
It’s not a matter of “opinion.”
Nope. In Sol Invictus was established in the 3rd century by Romans to oppose Christmas. It’s as fake as Kwaanzaa. And the solstice in 4 days earlier.
The date of Christmas *is* supposition, but it’s inferred from the bible, based on the date of his crucifixion (March 25th), and the date of the Dedication of the Temple (the 25th of the 9th month of the Hebrew calendar).
Now ask yourself why you choose to believe the completely unfounded assertions of Anton LeVay and his followers. I mean seriously, how did you get bamboozled into believing that Christmas is based on the solstice when you know it doesn’t occur on the solstice?

Sorry, it seems like every time I go to my FR tab, it posts a response to whatever tab has been open.
Since none of us were there, it’s all a matter of opinion. 🙂
