Thursday on the “Politicon” podcast, Democratic strategist James Carville said Charlie Kirk “was not a pimple” on filmmaker Rob Reiner’s ass.
While discussing Reiner’s legacy, Carville said, “Charlie Kirk, there was this thing, some kindergarten teachers forwarded some things he said about women. I would urge anybody to look at that. And they fired, you know, fired him. Okay, I’m sorry, I don’t want anybody to get shot. He had young kids.
I hate that, but Charlie Kirk was not a pimple on Rob Reiner’s *ss when it comes to influence, and it comes to impact when it comes to anything else. I don’t want to say anything bad but for God sakes don’t compare Charlie Kirk to Rob Reiner. That’s not fair.”

You might want to re-think this in your approach to compare the three. Kirk was under the radar until 2012 when he was first creating Turning Point.
Reiner was an activist going back many years and many different areas:
Early Childhood Development: Reiner led the campaign for California’s Proposition 10 (Children and Families Initiative), creating vital early learning programs, and initiated a White House conference on the topic.
Marriage Equality: He co-founded American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER), which successfully challenged Proposition 8, the ban on same-sex marriage in California, leading to its reversal.
Tobacco Control: He worked to protect children from tobacco, serving as chairman for the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids and supporting anti-tobacco initiatives.
Political Advocacy: A strong Democrat, Reiner actively opposed Donald Trump and his policies, even forming the “Committee to Investigate Russia” to look into Kremlin links to the Trump campaign, and was a fierce defender of democracy.
So, state wise, federal, and international was within Reiner’s area of face time and has been since the mid 1990’s. And all of these effected other states.
Carville is an American political consultant, author and occasional actor who has strategized for candidates for public office in the United States and in at least 23 nations abroad starting in 1973. He is a pundit in U.S. elections who appears frequently on cable news programs, podcasts, and public speeches. His calendar id far more than Kirk’s in face time an has been dong it before Kirk was born. He has been seen by millions more people that Kirk.
Kirk, for the time he was active in the public eye, did great work. But not near as much as the other two have been doing it for many years before.

Rob Reiner was a famous director of several popular movies. He was also seriously inflicted with a debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Charlie Kirk was a young, charismatic founder and leader of a large and growing peaceful political movement.
Reiner was murdered because he raised a deranged drug addict son. Kirk was assassinated because he was becoming too influential and was bringing tens of thousands of young people over from the dark side with nothing but kindness, compassion and a willingness to have calm, open political discussions with just about anyone.
Carville is less than a pimple on anyone’s ass. He is a long forgotten pimple that was popped years ago and that no longer has any relevance in the world.

Of his two daughters, one is married and the other is not in the public eye after graduating college in the south. The media sources aren’t getting much info out on them. But they appear to be leading normal lives outside of the party. Good on them.
