(NeverTrumpin' -- it's not just for DNC shills anymore -- oh, wait, yeah it is.)
For possible interest of anyone who has seen the 1962 movie/musical The Music Man, the leading man (Robert Preston) was a G2 (intelligence officer) with a 9th AF medium bomber outfit in WWII. Many years ago, an aviation magazine ran a short article by a pilot in Capt. Meservey's unit (his pre-Hollywood name was Robert Preston Meservey).
There were apparently standing orders to use up any unused munitions on targets of opportunity during the flights home. On return from one mission, the crew targeted a dilapidated and likely abandoned outhouse sitting in a large open area. The "target" was completely destroyed. At the debriefing, Preston found a deal of humor in the whole thing, and pronounced the pilot to be "the scourge of Hitler's outhouses."
After that incident, he always addressed that pilot as "The Scourge."
Now you know.

Good. Taxpayers shouldn’t be supporting sports games anyway.

Good one. Would be a great answer for “Va Banque!” (All In, translated, but it’s the franchise we call Jeopardy!)

If anyone ever watch the Tom Grossi You Tube video (He is a football fan), he dresses as the Pope whenever he talks about DA Bears.
Maybe they could move to Decatur and rename them the Staley's 😀

The New York Giants played in Connecticut in the 1970s.

And since it’s in the same metro, there would be no vote required to move the team.

Or the Portage Pierogis.
Or the Crown Point Kielbasas.
They would sell both pierogis and kielbasas at the stadium with a tall-boy of Zywiec Beer. Fifty bucks for all three.
