I’m in Ohio. Wow....This guy reminds me of Vance except he’s a bit more ‘colorful’ and passionate. He does come across as more than a little angry in the video, but I don’t reject anything he’s saying. It’s a lot of what we’ve all been saying/thinking for a very long time.
I’m definitely not a Vivek guy just on H1-Bs alone and I think he’s a little smug. After the article last week I decided I wouldn’t vote for him ever. So I’m happy to see people pushing back on him.
Thanks for your replies. I found his argument compelling beyond his obvious passion, which I like. He’s a pissed-off native son, and I think that will resonate with many. I was born and raised in New Jersey, and it resonated with me!

Word downtown in the Capital area is that Ohio AG Dave Yost recently told all his section chiefs to rest up over the holidays because starting early next year he’s going to let it rip as far as really bold initiatives and announcements since he has nothing to lose. He’s out of a job since his term ends and the GOP wouldn’t hold off on an endorsement to allow for Yost and Vivek to fight it out in a normal primary season.
So, one wonders, is Yost trying to still make a play for governor?
I’m not a big fan of Yost—he’s no Ken Paxton and he hasn’t always signed onto the same position statements and Amicus briefs a lot of red state R AG’s have—but he’d probably be a better governor than DeWhiney and Kasich.
If this Casey guy can cut into Vivek’s support, the GOP may just have to eat crow and drop their support of Vivek and run to Yost to save themselves from themselves.
And, of course, if Vivek has ever done anything untoward in his business dealings, an AG is in a good position to uncover that and let it be known, through backhand channels, a solid investigation has revealed some concerning findings.
I’m wondering if Vivek’s Chapter Medicare group is behind what must be 200 calls I’ve gotten in the last two months on trying to get me to sign up for Medicare, which i am not old enough for. I don’t recall ever getting but 1 or 2 such calls in the past during open enrollment season. It’s not just me. My floor salesman, who’s probably 25, said the same thing.
