Pure state murder where I come from.

This is why British troops refuse to deploy anywhere. Firing their weapons means a court martial.

The Maduro regime is a proxy for a number of countries and entities that are at war with the United States

The people getting attacked in boats are state sponsored Narco Terrorists infiltrating drugs that are killing hundreds of thousands of Americans each year

There is no such thing as due process for these illegal combatants

They are being dealt with appropriately

"Sens. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.) and Jack Reed (D-R.I.) issued a statement Saturday vowing to conduct 'vigorous oversight' on Caribbean strikes after a report surfaced that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered the U.S. military to “kill everybody” aboard an alleged drug vessel. "

I thought that was the whole point in shooting at them. Were they suppose to have been captured and then rehabilitated? How?

“after a report surfaced that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered the U.S. military to ‘kill everybody’ aboard an alleged drug vessel.”

The word, “alleged”, is not in the correct place.

It wasn’t an “alleged” drug vessel. It was “alleged” that Hegseth gave an order. It’s not like the left ever played fast and loose with the truth, i.e., CREATED FICTION.

I hope you don’t have an awakening the hard way, by losing friends and/or loved ones to the drugs that these boats are bring to our shores. But if that’s what it takes to open your eyes, maybe ...

“Pure state murder where I come from.”

It was an act of war, not murder. This is war. The War on drugs” was officially declared in 1971, then intensified in 1982. For two months we’ve been in a “non-international armed conflict” (NIAC), allowing the use of military force and the law of armed conflict against non-state actors. Congress needs to make this official — and soon.

“Even scoundrels get due process.”

Not enemy combatants.

“Rand Paul is right”

Almost never.

Youse guys should move to the Aleutians and set up your own republic. Or dictatorship.
Or whatever youse believe in.

I'm sure you aren't an idiot. But demanding due process for enemy combatants is retarded.

Rhinos, libertarians, and far left liberals want “due process”? Thousands and thousands of dead Americans who died at the hands of these scum and we should treat the bombing survivors with dignity? Besides, any survivors would have drowned and eaten by sharks anyway. Consider this “mercy killings”.

What if Hegseth was just following orders. Will they go after his boss?

You and Rand need to understand this is part of a color revolution op. And maybe you do and are part of it.

This covers the whole episode well. The Hill is just a part of the Leftist megaphone for this aspect of the color revolution they are trying to pull on the polity.

“Timeline of a deep state hit:

A) a JSOC kill strike is ordered on an authorized target. Not a capture strike, a kill strike - President Obama was quite fond of them btw - 500+ to his name, including Americans.

B) the story is leaked. A leak from JSOC? Probably not - the leak is probably closer to the SECWAR’s office in the Pentagon. The Washington Post begins writing the story.

C) a Soros-funded NGO puts billboards up encouraging military personnel to report unlawful orders… although there are no unlawful orders identified.

D) out of nowhere, the Seditious Six - which includes one presidential hopeful and one former IC member who had direct involvement in the original attempt to destroy Trump - delivers to social media a “don’t give up the ship” video - a public service announcement to all personnel to refuse unlawful orders.

*** the video was funded and produced a Soros funded NGO.

E) Senator Slotkin, the former CIA ghoul, goes on the news and is very careful to state that she can’t identify any unlawful orders that have been given.

F) boom, the WaPo delivers the story claiming unlawful orders.

G) Friday evening, everyone on the left hits social media - with paid amplification - about the unlawful orders.

H) the Sunday shows will be filled with calls for war crimes charges, impeachments, and resignations.

All a coincidence, right? None of it was coordinated, right?

Not all civil wars happen on the battlefield.”

“Rand Paul is right (Again!). “

Rand Paul compared the blowing up of drug smugglers at sea to the unjust killing without trial in “Killing the Mocking Bird”.
Killing the Mocking Bird is a pure lie invented by a leftist fabulist to smear white people. So much so it has been a required reading imposed to children in public schools over the past decades. Yet Paul used it as a reference!
So NO chance he could be right here given how dumb his argument was.

If we were talking about American criminals, in the U.S.A., you might have a point, I guess. The CINC’s view though, is these guys are pirates in international waters, basically. You might disagree with that, or the response, but that’s how you have to look at it. Make sense now?

If they don’t like orders to kill all and would like to see survivors on trial, then tell the Senators to STOP HOLDING UP TRUMP’s JUDGES...because until then, DOD will have to take care of the ‘justice’.

The Senate is going to micromanage how many missiles to use against each drug boat? There’s this thing called separation of powers that prevents that.

Atta Go Pete !

Kill them all and let the good Lord sort them out.

No more drug deaths for 100K Americans per year, and death from above deterrence.

I think some of these Senators are being paid by the cartels.

“Me thinks they dost protest too much.”

Are you speaking solely about the second strike?

The first strike against the vessel and pirates in question presumably having met your standards.

Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro delivered a defiant address in Caracas earlier this week, brandishing a sword and warning supporters to prepare for confrontation with what he called “imperialist aggression” as President Donald Trump said the United States will “very soon” begin stopping suspected Venezuelan drug traffickers on land.

Maduro appeared at a mass rally in the capital holding the sword of Simón Bolívar, the 19th-century independence leader regarded as the liberator of much of South America. Maduro told supporters that the country was facing a decisive moment.

The Associated Press reported him saying that, “For anyone, whether civilian, politician, military, or police. Let no one make excuses. Failure is not an option. The homeland demands it! Our greatest effort and sacrifice. And with (Simon) Bolívar, I come to say that if the homeland demands it, the homeland will have our lives, if necessary,” he declared while raising Bolívar’s sword.
