A bar in Idaho is offering to give out free beer for a month to those who help Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) identify and deport illegal immigrants. The bar, Old State Saloon, has made headlines before when it declared June "Heterosexual Awareness Month."
The bar posted to X, "ALERT: Anyone who helps ICE identify and ultimately deport an illegal from Idaho gets FREE BEER FOR ONE MONTH at Old State Saloon!"
The post, which has gone viral on the social media platform, also caught the attention of the Department of Homeland Security, which posted a dinosaur dropping a cup gif in response.
Mark Fitzpatrick, the owner of the Old State Saloon, told The Post Millennial, “Liberals and the Deep State have slowly messed with the Patriots of our republic, letting in dangerous illegals for far too long. The Patriots of the most heavily armed country in the world are saying ‘Enough is enough! If you aren’t American, GET OUT!’”
One X user reacted to the announcement, suggesting a competitive aspect be added to the challenge, "Can you create a leaderboard and at the end of the year have a 'Deporter of the Year' award who gets free beer for life (or a year or whatever)."
Old State Saloon responded, "Seems like a good idea. Will consider." Although many were thrilled about the prospect, and others slammed the bar for proposing the challenge, one user brought up the question of having a drink limit.
“Hold up! Is there a limit per month? Limit on months?” the social media user asked.
“2/day for one month - at our discretion, may award multiple months to one person if multiple illegals are deported,” the bar responded, laying out the rules for how many drinks one could have.
“Whew! There are a number of livers I worry about between Mountain Home and Caldwell. Truly unlimited might have finished them off,” the user responded.
I’m moving to Idaho.
nice!!!!
I wonder if you even have to move there? It says “rid Idaho of an illegal”. So what if you, in another state got rid of an illegal in Idaho, and could prove it, would they honor that? Think about it!
How can I claim my reward beer?
I hope so many people qualify the bar has to retract the offer.
Free beer tomorrow!
You’d have to contact the bar. Honestly though I don’t think you’d have to live there just get an illegal arrested and deported from Idaho. Then get proof from ICE. You have have to go to this bar in person for your beer however.
I hope it’s not Bud Light Beer.
Honestly I’d do it just to win it but I don’t drink. I’d ask the bar to send the local ICE agents a fruit basket or some kind of other food donation.
Potatoes aren’t the best vodka source despite the myth.
Idaho has fallen.
The place is in Eagle, in case anyone was wondering.
Maybe we should have a Treasure Valley Freeper get-together there. They serve pub grub.
That’s a good start. I’ve been wondering when $$$ rewards are going to be given. The illegals have neighbors who know they’re illegals. Give the neighbors incentives instead of paying the illegals to self-deport and speed up the arrests.
Dang...Southern Idaho beat North Idaho to the punch on this!
