A Louisiana cheer mom who had sex with her daughter’s 14-year-old classmate has been sentenced to 26 years in prison — after her own child begged for her to get the harshest penalty possible.
Leann Yammarino, 45, pleaded no contest to having sex with a 14-year-old who went to her daughter’s school in Ascension — while also sexting at least five other teenagers, according to WBRZ 2.
Her young daughter addressed the court on Tuesday — begging for her mom to get the maximum penalty for ruining her family’s life, the outlet said.
Five other students, ages 14 to 16, then accused the mom of sending them lewd texts, including videos of herself.

Maybe I missed this in the article. What’s unclear to me was this underage sex act with a male classmate or female?

Idiot of the Year award to the 14-year-old who came forward to police. I understand the daughter is a little bit upset as her mom was probably tapping into the dating pool scene probably from the better part of the 9th through 12th grade. No daughter wants sloppy seconds. In this lady is by no means a predator but...... How dumb do you have to be to have a good situation like that when you’re 14 and you blow it!
No regrets, except for a boat routine conjured up by the crazy drill team coach. The mast of the boat drew an unhealthy comparison to pole dancing. It was obvious, as many young men were waving dollar bills during the routine. The coach was fired at the end of the year.
The band had over 350 performers, required ongoing fundraising year round. The logistics were challenging, too.

WOW, that’s pretty harsh. Second degree murderers get less than that.
So the “victim” so-to-speak was male! Yes agree!
The daughter’s rage is also the rage of a 14 year old who is going to have to live with snickers in the hallways, jokes, laughter all the immature teenage cruelties aimed at her through the 9-12 grades. What’s left of the family (if there is anything left like a father!) will plainly have to move!
Police were first alerted when the 14-year-old Dutchtown High School student came forward in July 2024, alleging Yammarino had sex with him twice since January.

It’s one thing if it’s some woman in her mid-20s who isn’t married and without kids. But when a family is involved, that’s completely different.
Are you assuming her targets were male?
I read it’s a sign of narcissism for a mother to compete sexually with her daughter(s).
