Looking at US media and they are very, very quiet about this act of sedition.
To: DallasBiff
They seem to be very clever about this, by saying to not obey "illegal orders", but they are very vague about specifics. Just what might constitute an illegal order? They don't come out and say to disobey any specific order, but they are adamant about disobeying.
It's like they are encouraging sedition, but cloaking it in such a way that they are not culpable.

Sounds very INSURRECTIONY to me.......................

People like Kelly and any others with former military service need to be court- martialed and all their military benefits withdrawn. First Amendment does not protect against insubordination or instigating sedition.

I agree that the sentiment behind this is seditious. But, they are telling the military to do something that is already built into the UCMJ-a duty to disobey unlawful orders. It would be difficult to prosecute any of them for saying this.

It is sedition.
One (or more) military personnel actually take this as advice and act upon it, then it will go very poorly for said congresscritter.
To: GMThrust
I remember taking that exact training some 40+ years ago. I wonder if they still get similar training today.

If Democrats incite woke troops to expose themselves, that is a good thing. The corrupt soldiers can be weeded out before they cause more damage.

It is extremely difficult to prove that something is an illegal order. If you fail, you get prison time.
It is terrible advice.
Unless you are defying an order to rape and pillage, you probably aren’t getting anywhere.

Correct.
Some weasel JAG officer has advised how to avoid a sedition charge.
They need to be pressed on exactly what orders they claim must be disobeyed, so sedition charges can be brought.

Every one of these Dems should be overrun with people demanding they give multiple examples of the illegal orders they are talking about.

It is NOT “built in” to the UCMJ nor are the democrats cleverly disguising anything. The UCMJ states that orders are always deemed to be lawful and if there is to be a challenge to them, the person must follow a precise process after obeying those orders. Of course a military member could recognize a blatant order like “shoot these children on the spot” but that’s an implied response to such an order and the UCMJ is very clear on following your chain-of-command’s orders, THEN protesting them.

IMO this won't work on active duty troops. They are more serious about their missions and their careers.
This is oriented towards the National Guard troops who are more likely to jump the shark over politics.

Okay, so the Times of India reporting on this but i don’t remember seeing anything about this on the local or national news. Interesting. Anyway, these congressgrifters are true scum to be promoting this, but, in reality the UCMJ requires service members to refuse unlawful orders. It’s a hateful thing for congressgrifters to promote but its probably not actionable. Just my $.02.
