Our daughter’s Escape would periodically do that. She pulled into an intersection and lost power. Mechanic gave some lame excuse about spark plugs. She didn’t keep that car long and bought a Subaru which she does not like because it’s always nagging her about this and that.
I never had problems like this with my 1976 Dodge 4x4 pickup truck......I wish I still had it. š
My time driving a Subaru rental, some years ago, was filled with every conceivable nudge, warning, and strong steering wheel movement, possible.
The steering wheel kept strongly turning away, while driving over clearly āunder constructionā roads that now had striping that ran 30+ degrees counter to the actual path I had to drive along concrete separators. If I had ever let it ādo its thing,ā I would have had an immediate crash! To further describe my situation, it was night, there was a strong storm, and the wipers were not good.
I found I could turn all that crud off, after that drive, and did so, with malice.
Iāve never had such a big problem in any other rental. Only that Subaru Forester.
