I learned to drive on a ‘62 Bug and a ‘66 Bonneville. How strange that neither of them had the problem, either.

Of course, I was a fanatic about keeping both points and plugs clean and properly gapped. And coils and plug wires changed now and then. ;>)

These days people say “Points? Huh? Whutz zat?” At least we could actually DO that work on those cars.
