Now that I need to be gluten free. I have to be very suspicious about my chocolate...and every thing else.

I have been trying to find the boxed assorted chocolates my grandmother used to have during g the holidays. I would like to give them as gifts thiS year. They were called CONTINENTALS CHOCOLATE S. They were sold in fine department stores, the ones that had specialty food treats. They were delicious.

Anyone remember them?

Amazon sells a Thornton’s Continental Chocolate Gift Box. Thornton’s is a 100 year old company that is now owned by Ferrero.
Amazon reviews are not very positive, they indicate that the Ferrero acquisition has resulted in changes that affect taste in a negative manner.
