Appears to be a very bad shoot...
Someone’s going to jail and rightfully so. If I hear rattling at my door I’m waiting until it’s breached, and I see who it is before I make the decision to pull the trigger. Obviously the four rules of firearm safety were not followed in this case.
Somebody had something to hide.
Some key tidbits at the bottom of the article:
The couple had been living in Indianapolis for a year.... He is working on returning his wife’s body to their hometown in Guatemala.
There could be much more to this story.
I never trust the fake news media’s first draft of a seemingly black and white story. I’ll wait to see if there’s more to this story.
No mention of the perp’s identity.
I wonder what that means?
“Get off my front porch.”
Never slip a key into a door unless you’ve made contact with the owner.
And prayers UP for the husband. He is in a nightmare right now.
I hope he stays in Guatemala with this wife after he returns her.
“ Whitestown home they’d been hired to clean”
Title of article states otherwise.
They went to a house that was not expecting them. At 7am. Fiddling with the key doesn’t look good. Homeowner wakes up by disturbance...maybe owner is disabled...alone ..hears two voices...he is coming out of a deep sleep...owner panics..starts shooting..the cleaners have done this before... don’t they say “hello...is anybody home?” ?
Knock on the door? Before they try opening a door?
Could be a rare and tragic confluence of contributory errors by both parties. Very sad...but people get killed every day by drunk drivers...
Are the two people on the porch illegals?
The fact that the home resident is making no public statement is interesting. Not even identified.
The story told by the victims is a little too smooth.
The husband makes a point of saying the key never went in the lock.
Sounds coached.
An investigation is underway to determine what will happen next. No arrests have been made.
I would also like to know since the body will be shipped to their hometown in Guatemala were they legal residents?
What an odd thing to put in the headline - of course they didn't get the key in, they were at the WRONG HOUSE as you just stated, moron! (Unless all houses in that area use the same key - rather unlikely.)
