We apparently are not on a roll with some kind of conservative momentum. Leftist Democrats of the worst kind made inroads into political power yesterday.
— NYC elects a radical Muslim. — Virginia threw out all reason and elected radical leftists to the Governorship and Attorney General, who had made violent threats. — Democrats flipped two red seats in MS breaking the Republican supermajority. — in my neck of the woods, Texas senate district 9 is going to a run-off after a DEM bested two Republicans for a plurality of votes.
This was surprising as the polling place I revisited was packed to the gills in an off-off-year election in a conservative area. Overall, there were no spectacular Republican victories to make inroads into Democrat comtrol. I don’t think this bodes ill for the 2026 mid-terms.

Overall, though, the only candidates I thought had ANY chance were the AG for Virginia and MAYBE -a long shot - the Republican for NJ Gov. I thought there was a 50% chance one of them would win.
Folks also need to remember that TRUMP BARELY WON. Against incoherent, widely despised Kamala! His win was broad, but very slim. It would not take too many votes going the other way for us to be under “President Harris” now!
About all I can do is pray. Not for “America” but for God to open the eyes of the young and turn them to Him. The hardcore Democrat voters are filled with hate. Why is that a surprise? They’ve spend decades loving every abortion possible and wanting to sexually mutilate young teens! You don’t get more twisted that that!
A pretty impartial poll found that over 25% of “very liberal” people supported killing their opponents. Given that they have supported killing babies in the womb - and that many of them have done so! - why the surprise?
Pray for the young. Ask GOD for deliverance. And then, yes, VOTE! And work to get other like minded people to vote!
