I did a whole brisket in the smoker once and it didn't come out great. One of these days I'll work up the nerve to try again. Just needed to start earlier because I ran out of day and then night. It's about a 14 hour smoke.

Just watching a video on starting new garden beds and decided to jump on craigslist and search for 'tiller'. I did not know anyone even made a 3 foot wide PTO driven tiller but evidently Kubota does or did. Would be a perfect fit for my little tractor. Would have to wait 2 wks for another payday but then Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas to me. $1,175

As far as cuts of meat left from the last steer, all I have to work with now IS Brisket. I’ve been using this recipe. They turn out like BUTTAH! :) I’m going to try it next on a bear roast. There’s no fat cap on bear, so probably even lower and slower for tenderness.
