I know what it is like in the military, what we went through during Vietnam.
3-week-old baby at the airport waving good-bye with tiny American flags to his Dad, not knowing if he is coming back.
God Bless all our soldiers.
Went to Costco the other night, saw a SGT. shopping with his son.
Gave him my old line.
“OH MY GOD, I cannot believe this, today is my day to hug a soldier and there you are.”
They absolutely love it. (And this ole gal gets the best hugs.}
