One guy in our Officer Candidate School class became a fighter pilot. He said the first time he launched from a carrier he blacked out. He woke up just in time. It never happened again, but the incident stayed with him throughout his active duty.

There are many videos of carrier flight deck operations and I’ve loved watching them for quite a while.

IIRC there are methods that Navy and AF fighter pilots are taught when pulling G’s.
