Mobay suffering... and now they are waiting for the backside. We have workers from all over JA here at the farm and are getting live updates.

Melissa came ashore further west than originally forecast... that will make things worse for Cuba downstream since (a) there’s less land to cross over, and (b) that land is lower in altitude (roughly up to 1000 ft. vs. double that had she been 20-30 miles further east).
Still gonna be very dangerous when it makes its second landfall late tonight.

They are set up fairly well there with entirely concrete houses (yes, the roof too), but we were kinda hoping it might wipe Haiti clean. I hope there are lots of pictures of Haiti from yesterday we can compare to the what they will blame on Melissa tomorrow.
