Mamdani says NYPD boots ‘on your neck’ were ‘laced by the IDF’ in vile video
Mayoral front-runner Zohran Mamdani once made a vile, conspiracy-tinged statement tying the NYPD and the Israeli military, according to a shocking video that resurfaced Tuesday.
“We have to make clear that when the boot of the NYPD is on your neck, it’s been laced by the IDF,” the Queens assemblyman said, referring to the Israel Defense Forces.
Mamdani made the comparison during the 2023 Democratic Socialists of America’s national convention, where he was the keynote speaker.
During a separate panel discussion titled “Socialist Internationalism: The Solution to the Crisis of Capitalism,” Mamdani said it was important to connect “hyperlocal” and “international issues” with residents.

Mike Bloomturd is the punk who destroyed my neighborhood in Woodside/Jackson heights where I grew up. He allowed all these illegals in with the excuse “It will destroy the economy if we get rid of them”. I don’t follow this election closely. I’d like to hear the arguments supporting Mamdani.
My simplistic opinion is that there are a lot of New Yorkers that believe the current government is not working for them and they’re ready to try something different. They at least somewhat believe that Mamdani’s ideas will make things better.
NYC is going to be a no go zone. They are going to get it good and hard and l cannot think of a more deserving group of clueless idiots.

I’m not a New Yorker. But I’ve kinda been following the race. Mamdani has gone full socialist, promising lots of free stuff.
- Rent freezes
- Free bus rides
- Raise the minimum wage
- Low-cost grocery stores, run by the city
Something for everybody! And all payed for by taxing the rich: Mamdani wants more taxes on wealthy individuals and on corporations.

But given that a radical Muslim is currently running for mayor, the MCP is the only one that matters.
I think Trump doesn’t want to get involved because he figures its NYC, not really a hotbed for Trump voters maybe he feels that an endorsement would be toxic to whichever candidate he endorses.
