Yep! I used to walk or have my daughter ride on my bike to the school while in the 2nd to 5th grade. Then her middle school was to far so we drove her but would drop her off or pick her up near the school. Son was on his bike from 6th grade on.
There were child predators when I was young, too. Parents would teach their children to scream, run, whatever. Now every kid has a cell phone, so their parents can just tell them to dial 911.
Well, I don’t really mind the flashing lights. When they’re red, you just stop where you are, following or oncoming. Buses around here use flashing yellow lights for several seconds before the reds, so that drivers can decide whether they need to stop or can safely go past before the reds come on. I agree that a lot of the kids are real dawdlers about getting off and getting across the street, probably due to complete self-centeredness.
I do think that the bus routes could just have one stop every mile or so, and none within a half mile of the school. Most kids can walk half a mile, even today.
Skeleton strip show?
Skeletons don’t need clothes. They have no private parts left to display indecently.
Neighborhood’s social page. ????????
Lemme guess, NEXTDOOR?
That crap site is ruled by Karens and other hate-filled total TWOTs. I spoke out against a political position that one of the leads did not like. But, it was obvious that banning me for that would be corrupt as ‘Ell since political posts are banned in the first place.
Sooooo, I come along and respond to some lady’s post about what to do with a muggie that showed up on her front porch by saying the little bugger would move on as soon as she fed it. THAT got me banned as it was a violation of offensive speech rule. Right!
Now that’s funny!
“ Could Halloween overtake Christmas?”
In a land where people worship evil, sure.
I’d like a beer and a mop.
Maybe it has something to do with having a large Hispanic population. In Mexico, they celebrate for a few days.
Could’ve been nextdoor or the neighborhood has a web page, I know mine does.....but your right about the nextdoor app though......I took my Free Republic mentality of telling the unapologetic truth over there and eventually ended up getting banned for life.
The moderators are all a bunch of SJWs always on the lookout to curb free speech.....using the excuse that what your saying is “in their opinion” being mean.
FYI, that APP originates out of San Francisco, so that should explain it.
As I look back on it now, they did me a favor.
Yes, it is. ~~ sigh ~~
Just today, I viewed a photo of high school girls at a homecoming dance. Cannot believe a father would allow his daughter to leave the house in such a dress.
I say this in a non judgmental way, only as an observation...... the apparel I see some of the young females wear at my church is something I’m a bit surprised their parents would let them wear....and to church no less. Wow.
The ‘wear pajamas to school’ trend seems almost modest.
But I'm not sure which I find sadder: The thought that causes its owner post-tat regret, or that it doesn't.
Maybe it's a temporary tat. In which case, all good. Trashy, but good.
