Unless I’m mistaken in my deep memory, but if they fire upon American aircraft, the radar systems to detect and direct those missiles might just come to some HARM.

We are well-versed in the defense and avoidance of the SA-24 (NATO naming convention). Most of our aircraft can defeat it easily with countermeasures and maneuvers. Especially if it’s not used in an integrated air defense system.

Hmmmmm...an effective range of up to 6 kilometers. (about 4 miles)
Somehow, I get the feeling that our military isn't very concerned about this weapon when our strikes could be launched from up to 100 miles away.
