One Law Under God: Why Sen. Tommy Tuberville Is Right to Ban Sharia in America

Europe Ignored the Warning. Tuberville Says America Won’t Get a Second Chance.

When a U.S. senator stands up and says there’s only one law in America — the Constitution — the political class panics.

And that’s exactly what happened this week when Sen. Tommy Tuberville took the Senate floor and called for a nationwide ban on Sharia law.

Predictably, the media rolled its eyes. The Left smirked. The same people who think biological men can win women’s swim meets now tell us Islamic law poses no threat to the Republic.

But millions of Americans — people with common sense and a memory longer than a TikTok clip — know Tuberville is right.

Because we’ve seen this before. We remember 9/11. We remember Fort Hood, Boston, Orlando, Pensacola — the blood and the funerals, the families left behind.

And we remember the silence that followed, enforced by a ruling class terrified of offending the wrong people.

The precise issue is Sharia Law because Islam can be argued to be a religion, but Sharia Law nails the issue of an unconstitutional legal system within Islam.

Stick with arguing against Sharia Law as unconstitutional. THAT is the legal grounds for forbidding Shira Law in the U.S.

Without Sharia Law, Islam has no teeth and you can’t have Islam without the Sharia Law and the Quran. Get rid of Sharia Law and you get rid of Islam.

That's my point, but to avoid banishment from the U.S., many pro-Islamists (the Left) argue that Islam is a religion and protected by the Constitution.

Arguing Islam as a religion loses because of constitutional free exercise of religion, but arguing Islam as a political system - Sharia Law - wins because Sharia Law in unconstitutional and, thus, illegal in the U.S.

All of what you say is true.

But think "Court of Law" which is where banning Islam or Sharia Law would end up - The Supreme Court.

The Supreme court can only validly rule on constitutional issues, not opinions, morals, "lies" or "threats", but on the Rule of Law of the Constitution. That is why the issue to banish Islam must be in terms of BANISHING SHARIA LAW because Sharia law violates the Constitution. That's how we win that issue.

Tommy has spoken the truth here. Some sfolks say it doesn’t matter what you believe & we all have freedom of religion in this country. Yes, we DO have that but it does matter what you believe & we do have our Constitution instead of Sharia law which is part of Islam & it totally disagrees with our Constitution. Muslims are free to live here, but if anyone might disagree with this, let them live in an Islamic country for awhile & see what what happens....if they live through the experience.
