This will probably be done like the Navy 250 special that was run last saturday, with interviews and historical perspective on the Marines and their service, and live coverage of some commemorative event or ceremony.
This should be available on RAV for later viewing.
I won't be able to be around later today, so if someone could bump the thread, it would be appreciated.

I’ll be in San Diego NEXT Saturday to celebrate my grandson’s exit from USMC “basic training”.
This time, a week out, he will be a Marine.
Ooo-rah.
Semper Fi.
One of the most underrated things to do in DC is the Marine Barracks parade that they do in the summer. Sketchy part of DC but by the barracks, they have Marines fully armed and not just with sidearms either.
thought it was November 10th? OOORAH!
November 10th is the birthdate of the Marine Corps.
And the reason the marine corps was created is still here and more dangerous, halls of Montezuma to the shores of TRIPOLI
The Marines were born on Nov 10th.
The US Navy was born on Oct 13th.
This Saturday is Oct 11th, neithers anniversary or birthday.
So, why celebrate the Navy birthday in September, and the Marine birthday in October, both a month early?
/USN, 1988-1992
November 10 is the Marine Corps birthday… why the early celebration?
Someone needs to go back to the history book

MARINE 250: UNCOMMON VALORJoin Stephen K. Bannon from 5–8 PM ET on @RealAmVoice for a once-in-a-generation tribute to the United States Marine Corps. Live coverage honoring 250 years of service and sacrifice. pic.twitter.com/lMgEygpdAM— Bannon’s WarRoom (@Bannons_WarRoom) October 9, 2025
In my misspent youth I was briefly a cop in Washington, DC. My
partner was a former Marine and the most capable person I have
ever met when it came to bringing force to bear at the point of
need. After our shift one evening we were relaxing over a beer
or two when a boisterous group of ARMY officers entered the bar.
At some point, an ad came on the TV over the bar proclaiming that
“the ARMY made the world safe for Democracy.” The officers loudly
raised their glasses in agreement. When their celebration died
down, my partner turned to me and said in a loud voice,
“True. But the MARINES make the world safe for the ARMY.”
Then the fun started.
Marines can’t count that high
Bannon and RAV has been spending time and energy, not to mention money, to produce these specials, and it sounds like some of you would rather not have them....
And don't get mad at Jane... I notified her so that people that might be interested in these things could be notified....
Also.....There are all sorts of affilliated celebrations occuring, for example

About:
HOMECOMING 250 NAVY MARINES CORPS IS A GROUP OF PASSIONATE VOLUNTEERS FROM THE DELAWARE VALLEY AND BEYOND. We are dedicated to bringing the Navy and Marine Corps home to celebrate their 250th birthday at their birthplace. The officers, board members, and volunteers bring decades of experience from the military, tourism, industry, academia, and more to this effort. They are supported by numerous distinguished organizations with connections to the Navy, Marine Corps, Veterans, the Delaware Valley, and the Semiquincentennial.
Homecoming 250 Navy Marine Corps has been selected as one of the first National Partnership Programs by America 250 Foundation, Inc., the non-profit partner of the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission, established by Congress to organize the national Semiquincentennial celebrations. The Pennsylvania and New Jersey state Semiquincentennial organizations, America250PA and Revolution NJ, have partnered with Homecoming 250®, as have other charitable institutions. Together, we will give the Navy and Marines the 250th celebrations they deserve.
You all want to tell these programs they shouldn't be doing anything, because it's the wrong date?
Grrrrrrrrrrrr.............
