A man who threatened conservative influencer Benny Johnson is set to face charges as part of a White House crackdown on political violence, Pam Bondi announced.
The Attorney General gave a fiery address in Tampa, Florida on Friday as she said a suspect, named as George Isbel Jr., threatened to take out Johnson.
Johnson commands a following of over four million on X and is one of the most outspoken conservative commentators on social media, known for rubbing shoulders with Donald Trump and other influential MAGA stars.
In her speech on Friday, Bondi said Johnson had been targeted in recent weeks, and linked the threats to the assassination of Charlie Kirk one month ago.

Agreed but I am glad the Trump administration is going after Democrat death squad cadre members.
Yep. What many of us predicted that this was never going to be resolved peacefully with these people is now proven to be sure thing. It is now simply a matter of how much violence and destruction and how long it will go on.
It’s going to be very interesting and informative to see how many republicans in Congress have the balls to call all this violence what it is and what will have to be done to stop it
And while it comes as no surprise, it is still very interesting and sickening to watch 99% of the Democrats in office defend violent domestic terrorism.
