I'm bummed guys. For the past few days this site is virtually unusable. The words on the screen are teeny tiny to where I can only read them if I super magnify, but then on a cell phone, It's not really feasible. What happened and is there anything I can do?

“I thought maybe a change was made in an Android phone update that caused this.”
Yes, sounds like the device/browser “scale/scaling” has changed. Part of the problem is the FR does not have a Mobile Specific template to detect and modify the view for mobile devices.
Settings (three dots in upper right corner), list comes up, towards the bottom tap zoom, slider bar is displayed.
You can alter the text size by clicking on the icon in the upper left of your iPhone browser. It is probably a result of the phone trying to fit an image that was not sized into your browser. The image would look “right” but the text becomes tiny.
In any event you should look at changing the default text size. That’s usually in your general browser settings.
I have mine set for 150% because of my crap eyesight.
Sounds like a display size issue on your side.
You beat me to it. An all time classic Freeper response to tech questions!
Try a different browser.
Is this an iPhone or Android phone you have?
Opera browser allows you to increase text size and still read all the text without scrolling side to side. Maybe a temporary fix cause I don’t know what I’d do if I couldn’t read FR. ;-)
It’s you.
lol - came here just for that.
Recent update on Android phones.
1. In your web browser on your phone, tap on the icon in the URL field as indicated by the red arrow below:
2. There are the icons to change the font size (small "A" and large "A"). Try tapping the large "A" a few times to see if that helps.
It results in others being so obsessed with “thier” braking news that don’t size the images that embedded.
For phone-faggers, each image should be sized at < ... width=350>
Using much larger renditions creates EXTREMELY small text and VERY LARGE images.
Website is fine, suggest you review your settings.
OK... correcting for being “fat fingered and lack of editing...” [mea cilpa]
It results in other’s being so obsessed with “their” breaking news” and \\being first!\\ that they decline to edit and size the images that are embedded.

FR is not that important in the whole scheme of things.
Don’t be in a hurry, be precise.
I have never heard that term-what is a “phone-fagger”?
I am so glad to read this post, now I know it’s not just me. It started on my phone on Tuesday. Print was so tiny. I tried everything, finally found the zoom function. As others have mentioned tap on the three dots on the upper right, look down the menu until you find Zoom. That fixed it for me I had to increase it to about 180%. Now it’s back to what I am used to. May never know what caused the sudden change on Tuesday.
Yes, I have a Google pixle phone(android).
On the FR Forum it now only shows the title of the thread and number of comments. Same on the PC on my office desktop I am currently typing on. It used to show the first few sentences of the article. No longer.
I had a computer change about two weeks ago. I use Firefox as a browser.
In post 37 I mentioned that my print went tiny on Tuesday. According to my phone, yes Chrome did an update on Tuesday the 7th. From Google:
The latest Chrome browser update was released on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, with version 141 (141.0.7390.70) for Android and version 141.0.7390.65/66 for Windows, macOS, and Linux. An Extended Stable version (140.0.7339.240) was also updated for desktop users.
So yes it did happen, and it was out of our control.
Phone-faggers: Those that depend solely on their phone for “surfing”.
A demographic growing by leaps and bounds today.
It is opposed to those who watch the INTERWEBS on desktops and tablets that allow for \\\multiple\\\ tabs to be open and available within a moments notice (a simple click).
Currently...I have 23 open tabs related to current events, ICE activities and POTUS Trump.
I can, at any moment, move to a related tab concerning the topic of discussion to research and comment on the topic at hand.
You just can’t do that on your phone without digital gymnastics.
And, when someone sends you a huge image without formatting, you lose the text (teeney-tiny).
I just \scroll on\ with indifference and maybe come back to it.
Most folks on the internet are more worried about BEING FIRST than with providing you with good information.
I ignore such as “fame-faggers”: Those who want to be noticed...
