Killer stabbed the small boy sleeping in his bed, stabbed a sister in the back and stomped on her neck, stabbed and threw the father in the air like a rag doll.
He was given a light 20 year sentence then just got parole after only 8. Inconceivable. It’s said he wasn’t charged for murdering the tot due to “insanity”.
What is insanity is our legal process.
On X it said Pam Bondi will personally look into this one but I’m unsure if that is accurate.
Silly person needs to remember the “Three S’s”.
Not wise.
He just made himself the prime suspect if something "unfortunate" happens to the perp.
Silence is golden ...
In this case, it’s the “Four Ss”; it begins and ends with “Shut Up”.
Agree. The first one he should have learned is the 3rd "S".
He should start a diary and keep track of
where he is at all times so he can find his alibi.
He just made himself the prime suspect if something “unfortunate” happens to the perp.
~~~
He would have been a prime suspect regardless.
As soon as Any detective of prosecutor sees that the murder victim has a criminal history, that’s what they dig in to.
What is worse about all this is, if the father of the murdered son kills the murderer, he will probably get put away for longer than 8 years, because that’s just how our justice system works these days
“He just made himself the prime suspect if something “unfortunate” happens to the perp.”
I’ve reminded several people over the years that Perry Mason is dead. People make stupid statements like this all the time. Very rarely does anyone act on them, which is why the police don’t proactively arrest people for spouting off stupid things. Then, occasionally, someone says I’m going to kill so and so, and they do it and everyone says, “Why wasn’t he arrested?” Because “justice” is reactive. If it was proactive everyone with an IQ below room temperature, roughly half the population, would be in prison.
“Shoot! Shovel! Shut Up!”
He would have been A prime suspect.
Now he will be THE prime suspect, even with a seemingly airtight alibi.
That could be the difference between freedom and incarceration for a crime he didn't commit.
Don't attract the wrong kind of attention ...
> Logan’s father, Dean Tipton, confronted the intruder … <
A vile crime occurred there, to be sure. Then came the insult of an early release.
Not blaming the victim, of course. But you’ve got to plan for such an invasion ahead of time. Have a basic home alarm system installed. And if you’re not comfortable with firearms, keep strong police-grade pepper spray handy. (Fox and Sabre are good brands.)
A baseball bat is useful as well.
“What is insanity is our legal process.”
Insanity pleas should entail a life sentence in a mental institution for the criminally insane. No paroles, no pardons.
I understand dad I really do..
But for the tripple S to work correctly.. you start with the last S.
Rottweilers make a pretty decent deterrent. Hard to stab somebody with a 120 lb. dog hanging on your arm.
But ... if the murderer's slightly decomposed body gets turned up in a shallow grave in the woods by some hiker's dog ...
Who are the PoPo going to come looking for? Prosecutors and juries love stupid statements. That stupid statement establishes intent; it encourages The State to find or fabricate opportunity and means.
“What is worse about all this is, if the father of the murdered son kills the murderer, he will probably get put away for longer than 8 years, because that’s just how our justice system works these days.”
I wouldn’t be accepted for that jury. I wouldn’t convict.
Pam has a great track record of putting criminals in jail....
Nope... she doesn’t..
> Rottweilers make a pretty decent deterrent. <
By golly, I forgot all about that option. Good point!
the father will probably get life in prison with no chance of parole if it’s up to the feckless liberal dominated ‘justice system’
he was with me.
