Conservative commentator Steven Crowder pulled a Michael Jordan a few days ago with a two-word proclamation plastered all over his YouTube and social media accounts.
"I'm back."
Crowder was referring to his exceedingly popular video series "Change My Mind," in which he would set up a table with a simple prompt urging the liberal student body to debate him on a simple topic.
Some of his more well-received topics include "There Are Only Two Genders" and "Hate Speech Isn't Real."
Recently, Crowder made the decision to eschew "Change My Mind" out of an abundance of caution due to the rising threat of leftist violence at his events.
However, after the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk last month, Crowder had a change of heart and decided to make a comeback.
The comeback didn't come without a few heightened safety regulations, though, and this video of every precaution Crowder had to go through for his return to college campuses is eye-opening, especially if you are unfamiliar with the kind of rhetoric and physical violence his crew has faced in the past.
This man had to put on Kevlar to go speak to college students. Think about that for just a moment.
We live in a country where free speech is embraced, so much so that it is literally the very first amendment in our constitution, yet a regular citizen has to armor up to engage with a bunch of 18–24-year-olds.
And the most ironic part of it all: his topic was about how violent the left has been in recent years.

So where do you suppose his income comes from? And what better way to capitalize than attempt to become the new Charlie Kirk?
You may like him, but I don't. And you can't change my mind......
All of his income comes from Mug Club/Rumble Premium members, like me. 100%.
I couldn’t care less who you like or don’t like. Idiots like you who don’t take the time to educate themselves on anything aren’t worth caring about.
Violence is the reaction to losing. The left lashes out because conservatives are winning the discussions and convincing people that the left is wrong on their own turf, college campuses, where leftists have owned the lectern for decades.
Erika has said that campus tours will continue.
Kirk was well aware of the dangers, he chose to any way. Which is why many consider him a martyr.
I don’t care for him either- BUT I do give him props for putting it on the line and confronting liberals who frankly are dangerous unhinged and psycho- Takes great courage to do that especially after some maggot murdered Kirk from a distance like the coward that he, the shooter, is-
Kirk was a class act=- Crowder, not so much BUT still he is bringing dialogue to the unhinged left- something the left refuse to do with the right
The purpose of of the conversation is not to persuade your opponent, it’s to persuade others listening to the discussion.
Yep, Charlie had more patience and desire to meet, not beat the other person where they were, while sharing the truth.
Kirk won because he was able to persuade college students that they did not have to be indoctrinated by the Left.
Shapiro likely couldn’t walk around on msny campuses, much less debate.
Yeah, he posted something pretty good, don’t recall what, and I replied “Crowder, you magnificent bastard!” and got really offended. That was a takeoff from Bush to Rove, a big compliment at the time.
You're somebody.
Looks to me like he's willing to risk his own life to keep Charlie Kirk's vision alive.
What are the snarksters doing?
God bless and protect Steven Crowder.
>”Hate Speech Isn’t Real.”
He’s probably reconsidering that one.
Of course, that goes back a little further (Patton to Rommel), but it is indeed a compliment.
Yes, and that’s how I intended it.
Hope yer good, sax!
I’m still here, brother.
Yeah. The, “You magnificent bastard!” was used a lot during the Bush 2 times here.
He either must not have seen, “Patton,” or wasn’t used to FR’s way of phrasing things -or initiation/hazing for newbies.
Kinda sad. I’ll bet that chased off a lot of great people over the years who could have contributed to the site in beneficial ways.
I still have his email address when he was here back then. I’ll shoot him a hello, and see if he still uses it.
I’m too old.
