https://theisraelbible.com/ishmaels-repentance/

...Rabbi Shlomo ben Yitzchak, known as Rashi (11th century France), the greatest and most studied of all Jewish Bible commentators, comments that the fact that Isaac, the younger son, is mentioned before Ishmael, the elder, implies that Ishmael gave precedence to Isaac as Abraham’s primary son. One thing I’ve never understood about the Christian need to be friends with Israel. I get it. I grew up in a devout Christian home. Independent fundamentalist Baptist. I know what the Bible says. So say Israel starts war and genocide, not saying they are, Are we supposed to turn our eyes to their atrocities, if any, just because they are the chosen ones? Just asking.

No the seed of Abraham which took on the Abrahamic blessing is only through Isaac. Scripture says this explicitly multiple times. It is true that Ishmael was blessed to become a very populous and renowned nation.

Absolutely. All humankind is created in God’s image. Respecting that doesn’t negate the need for Justice. God will judge.

What is a heathen?

“...Certainly, God has created all people and loves each person perfectly. In fact, Jesus came to provide the opportunity for salvation for every person of every nation. We are not to view those of other people groups critically or negatively, but with a desire to share the love of Christ with them. In addition, a person can live in a non-Christian culture yet deeply love Jesus. Many people have come to faith in Jesus in cultures that some would call “heathen.” ...”
