One thing I’ve never understood about the Christian need to be friends with Israel. I get it. I grew up in a devout Christian home. Independent fundamentalist Baptist. I know what the Bible says. So say Israel starts war and genocide, not saying they are, Are we supposed to turn our eyes to their atrocities, if any, just because they are the chosen ones? Just asking.
No the seed of Abraham which took on the Abrahamic blessing is only through Isaac. Scripture says this explicitly multiple times. It is true that Ishmael was blessed to become a very populous and renowned nation.
Thankfully Galatians 3:16 clarifies once and for all what “seed” referred to, and did not refer to.
Absolutely. All humankind is created in God’s image. Respecting that doesn’t negate the need for Justice. God will judge.
