Leading Pro-Life Org Invests $4.5M into Unseating ‘Pro-Abortion Radical’ Georgia Democrat Sen. Jon Ossoff

Leading pro-life organization Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America and Women Speak Out PAC announced a $4.5 million investment on Wednesday into Georgia’s 2026 U.S. Senate race to unseat Democrat incumbent Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA).

The funds will go toward a field effort to reach one million voters by election day and will include digital advertising, voter contact mail, and a “robust” early vote campaign as the race progresses, the organization said in a press release. SBA Pro-Life America gave Ossoff an “F” rating on its national pro-life scorecard.

“If Senator Ossoff thinks he can hide from his record of voting in lock step with the brutal abortion industry 100% of the time, he should think again. He is a pro-abortion radical and must be defeated,” SBA Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser said in a statement. “Not only did he back a national mandate for all-trimester abortion – he even vetoed a bill simply requiring life-saving care for babies born alive after an attempted abortion. Our Georgia team is organized, energized, and America’s premier pro-life field program is ready to make 1 million visits to voters over the next 13 months to expose the truth about Ossoff, stop him from being re-elected and flip this seat pro-life again.”

The field effort will be focused on Savannah, Augusta, Columbia, and Chattanooga and will be directed at persuadable voters and pro-life voters who do not consistently participate in midterm elections. The organization touted its successes in six election cycles since 2014, with its program reaching 31 million voters in top battleground states.

Ossoff is a non-entity. How he won a Senate race baffles me.

Jon Offhoff like most American Jews is a big pro-abortion supporter. You'd think
that someone who's family was impacted by Nazi eugenic policies would be
sensitive to the rights of the unborn. It baffles me. Guy is a JINO. As far as I know,
Orthodox Jews are not this way at all, and oppose abortion.

Republicans in my home state of Georgia are not very good at showing up to vote when the ticket does not include a presidential candidate.

The democrats were very good about getting a ton of out of state money from their fan base to elect Ossoff and Warnock.

We really need some committed voters here.

Democrats almost always do well in the local elections and school boards.

Twenty years ago I spent a lot of time in Georgia and loved the state. I don’t know what happened to the people of Georgia electing the politicians they do. They seem to have lost their minds.

“focused on Savannah, Augusta, Columbia, and Chattanooga”

That Chattanooga is included implies it is a TV focused effort. My impression is that TV never motivates the unmotivated Republican voter to turnout and vote. Can anyone tell me where TV has been successful in that?

Would the same TV spot work in white NW GA and Black pro-life Savannah?

If not this group, is there any other group planning an effective effort?

Ossoff won because Trump voters in N GA held their breath like 2-year-olds and did not vote in the runoff. Low turnout in a specific geographic area to teach “them” a lesson.

Running in the R Primary:
1) Cong Mike Collins endorsed by Trump and the man to beat in the primary.
2) Cong Earl (Buddy) Carter, Trump supporter not endorsed by Trump. His ads say “Buddy”. He is on the ballot as “Earl”. That alone loses him many votes.

3) Derek Dooley of TN whose ancestors were loved in GA, especially UGA Bulldog football. 30% of R voters (like me) came to GA after the Dooly football glory days and the name means nothing to us. Dooly is supported by Gov Brian Kemp, who chickened out of himself running.

So far none of the above 3 has made any highly visible move.
Kemp won because he had a ground game. Nobody else has a ground game worth mentioning.

The Dems have an effective ground game...getting out their unmotivated voters. If the Dems win it will be because the Republicans lacked a ground game.

FYI——Jon Ossoff ran twice for federal office before being elected to the U.S. Senate in 2020: once for Congress in 2017 and again for Senate in 2020.

In 2017, Ossoff ran in a special election for Georgia’s 6th Congressional District to fill the seat vacated by Tom Price. Ossoff was ultimately defeated in the runoff election by Republican Karen Handel.

Ossoff’s second campaign was for the U.S. Senate in 2020. In the initial election in November, no candidate received a majority of the vote. This led to a runoff election in January 2021, where Ossoff defeated incumbent Republican David Perdue. This victory officially marked his first successful run for elected office........his election gave Democrats control of the Senate.

He honestly owes his senate seat to Mitch McConnell in 2020 two weeks before the election runoff Mitch came out against the stimulus checks during Covid and he literally ran every single day on it. His own polling showed Mitch swung the race to him because of this.

Trump ran a great campaign in 2024.

1. Economic Concerns and Inflation

2. Immigration and Border Security

3. Law and Order.

4. Weaponization of the Federal Government / Perceived political targeting

Trump had a nuanced approach towards the abortion issue because he wanted to maintain support among conservative supporters at the same time trying to appeal to moderate and independent voters who are pro-choice and may have voted for the Democratic Party in the aftermath of the Dobbs decision in 2022.
