The left is bitching about the tone of the memorial for Kirk.
Remember Senator Paul Wellstones funeral when Bill Clinton was caught laughing and enjoying himself?

It was as at this point that Gov. Ventura left the building.
In interviews Ventura used the words “disgusting, disgraceful and offensive” to describe the experience. He said the service drove his wife to tears.
If Ventura had endured the remainder of the service, he would have been treated to Sen. Wellstone’s son, Mark, leading the crowd in a rousing chant of “We will win!” All the while, most everyone in attendance clapped, laughed and in general “whooped” it up.”

The McCain funeral also turned into a hate Trump rally. It was extremely off putting.
There wasn’t an election in the offing during the funeral of Kirk. Trump even managed to keep the politicking minimal bringing it back to what Kirk had done for us.
I remember Rush Limbaugh describing it as a funerally.
I didn’t see a problem. Post if you want to.

I think it took over a week of funerals before they finally found a hole to toss McCain into. They just kept on going and going and going. I halfway expected it would turn into a rock star’s multi-year going away tour.
Thanks so much. I have a TBI and as I age it’s just hell! I have lost my verbal skills. After the Almeda fire I bought 2 computers but can’t make them work. Another aspect of TBI is the inability to learn something new.

Big difference between the Wellstone “funeral” and Charlie Kirk’s memorial was Kirk’s was a celebration of faith with prayer and reflection. Wellstone’s event was totally devoid of faith and prayer.

The Charlie Kirk event was not a funeral. It was a wake for those that loved him. That being said, I could have done without the fireworks.
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) is not something to laugh with you about but to virtually hug you for. Frustration must be a frequent emotion. I remember a study from 50 years ago that all aging slows learning. What we could do in a flash when younger can still happen, but it just takes much longer. Also, as we age, our patience seems to degrade and we might not be as willing to sit down and spend the time needed to learn new things.
I was in the computer field and used to head our professional society for computer language design. Today, husband handles ALL our computer needs. And when I’ve been away from an application that I use extensively, like Photoshop or Premiere, I still need husband to remind me before I can get back into it.
Does music help to relax you and concentrate your mind?
Charlie Kirk was all about using fireworks. That’s why

I have to stop driving! It also effects speech.. compulsive crying and swearing. I asked a neurologist if it was like tourettes. He said no it’s more like a stutterer being able to sing without stuttering. I spew words I have never heard of during panic attacks. The PTSD just aggravates it all.
I stay isolated now since the Almeda fire and losing everything. I’m stuck in the boonies and can’t get medical care or move
Wellstone was a full fledged commie radical. He would have been hugely popular in their camp.
I don’t want to disparage the dead, so I won’t mention that he was an obnoxious prick, also.
